"Damn boy. Can I have your number?" I said as Alex came from my room. He'd just finished getting dressed in his costume for the party and was showing me the outfit for the first time. Or lack of the outfit I should say.

We were both going as Tarzan and calling ourselves the Tarzan Twins. We were wearing brown speedos and that was it. Alex was completely ripped and I was more than happy to show him off to Mitch.

"Your turn!" Alex said, pushing me into my room. I began changing and my excitement for tonight only grew more and more.

Alex and I had been hanging out a lot this week after work. He was truly an amazing guy. He understood my feeings for Mitch and was there for me everytime a breakdown came.

We're a couple, or so we say, but he knows that I'm in love with Mitch.

"Mitch is going to be radiating jealousy tonight!" Alex said once I came out with my costume on.

He walked up to me and wrapped his arms around my neck. He kissed me and there was nothing in the world that could explain how badly I wanted his lips to be Mitch's.

"This is wrong," Alex said after he pulled away.

Yeah no kidding, you're not Mitch.

"I'm kissing my twin."

I laughed. "Oh shutup you loser. Let's go."

We grabbed our jackets and walked out of my apartment.

"Wow," I said, looking around the ballroom. I had barely talked to Mitch this week, not that that was anything new, but he'd been working on the party.

The ballroom was covered in cobwebs with fog blowing. There were spiders, skeletons, and witches everywhere. Not that I didn't think Mitch could do anything he put his mind to, but I was impressed.

"This place is fucking creepy. It's awesome," Alex said to me.

I spotted Kirstie on the other side of the room. I pulled Alex along with me. Kirstie was wearing the outfit that Katniss wore in the movie, and it was obvious that she had bought it in a costume store. Her new brown hair was in a perfect braid, and she had bow and arrows over her shoulder.

"Kirstie!" I yelled over the music playing. She turned around. "Bitch you look flawless!" I said.

"Me? You and barbie here look like the perfect porn stars," Kirstie said.

A tall man walked up behind her with two glasses of punch. "I was gone for two minutes and you're already cheating on me?" He asked.

She laughed. "These boys are pitching for the other team, babe."

He handed her the punch he'd gotten for her. "Hi, I'm Jeremy," he said, holding out his hand.

"Scott," I said, shaking it.

"Ah," he said. "The new best friend."

I laughed. "I guess so."

He and Alex introduced themselves and I let my eyes scan the crowd. I wanted to see Mitch so badly.

"He's around here somewhere, the night is young," Alex whispered into my ear.

We continued talking to Kirstie and Jeremy for the longest time. But then I saw him.

He was wearing a baseball jersey that barely went further than his crotch. Then, he was wearing tall black boots that came to his thighs.

The man beside him, who I'm guessing is Travis, wore black skinny jeans, a white crop top, and black sneakers.
