5: Trust

When they got in front of the fire pit at the camp site Tina stared into the fire for a bit as the three males stared at her concerned. "Are you going to be okay saying this Tina?" Karma asked

"Yeah, I'm going to be honest with the three of you, what I say to you three stays with the three of you. You are to not to say word one of what I am about to say to anyone else, alright?" She asked as she looked between the three males

"You have my word on that." Zack said leaning against his scythe

"I'll keep it with me to my grave princess." Rogue said placing a hand on his heart

"I ain't no gossip girl, you can tell me Tina." Karma said with a grin 

"Good, glad to hear that. What I am about to tell you, I would never lie to the lot of you about. This incident that happened made me hate liars, so I would never be a hypocrite."Tina stated seriously

"Good to know you can be trusted." Zack said with a grin 

She nodded her head before she took a deep breath. "Years ago, my family met up with the Sakamaki family who took charge of the Oakheart kingdom after something happened that changed who was in charge...I don't remember what happened. But with the Vampire King Karlhiens being the king of Oakheart he managed to marry three women-all who still live. Cordelia, Beatrix and Christa; in that order. Now my eldest sister was supposed to marry Shu and Reiji Sakamaki, that was the whole reason my family met up with theirs to begin with."

The three males looked to one another as Rogue looked sadly to her afterwards, he knew just with that information that his assumption was right. She was the woman he had heard rumors about from his parents. 

"Risa had no want or need to be around the two of them apparently. She didn't find them attractive and acted like a complete bitch cause she wanted to leave. Apparently she found herself in love with someone who was below her and she knew she wouldn't be allowed to love them if father knew. So until she got her way she acted bitchy towards every male but that male. I didn't know that till later on, while I was waiting for the courting between my sister and the two males to be done for, I made friends with three of the brothers; Kanato Sakamaki, Ayato Sakamaki and Subaru Sakamaki."

Her voice began to waver as she spoke the three males names. 

"They hurt you didn't they?" Rogue asked

She nodded her head. "I had gotten into an argument first with Subaru, he didn't like me-he hated me and had told me already that he never wanted my family around. That there was no way in hell he'd ever see me as anything more than vampire food."

"I was ignorant back then, I stood my ground and I fought verbally with him before he began to be physical with me, Kanato and Ayato had seen what Subaru was doing and picked me up only to tell me they were acting around my parents and siblings. They told me that honestly they hated me and wished I'd die. It was then that I knew that I couldn't trust them-my mind and spirit was broken then. I was a punching bag for all three of them before Kanato thought it'd be a good idea to burn my back." 

As she spoke the last part she turned so her back was to them and she showed them all the marks on her back. 

"There's burn marks that'll never heal from Kanato, nail marks on me from Subaru then whip marks from Ayato since he tried to break me more than I already was just so I would die." She said before she placed her shirt down and she faced them once more. "I was bed ridden for half a year, the entire time no one from my family ever saw me. I was taken care of by maids and nurses. Knowing that...Knowing that I'm nothing more than a face and body to my parents and kingdom. I knew I would be tossed to wolves before I knew it."

Karma's eyes widen. "Wait...is that why your father pressured Rogue and I to marry you?"

She nodded her head as she sighed out. "It is...They believe if they can have one of their daughters marry someone from all the kingdoms they can establish not only world dominance but world peace to. I can work behind world peace..but dominance...No thanks. I'm not greedy, I don't take things from other people."

"Damn, and here I thought the Oakheart ruler was fucked up shit. Well you aren't the only one dealing with pain from the past. My ass almost got completely burned hadn't it been for my mother being around." Zack said seriously

She looked to him shocked. "Really?"

"Yeah, my 'father' hated that I have a potty mouth, he told me that I either need to shape my ass up or burn in hell. I told him to go choke on horse balls, so he burned my back with lamp oil and used a match to burn me, if it hadn't been for the fact that the Prince of Mirfield was there I would be a goner." 

Tina couldn't help but laugh a bit covering her mouth. "That's quiet comical that you'd say that to your father. You really say it how it is...don't you Zack?"

"Hell yeah I do and I don't give a fuck who gets offended by it." Zack said with a grin

He felt proud in himself getting at least a small laugh out of the young princess. 

"Mind me askin' you something?" Zack asked

"Hm? Sure what's up?"

"This might come out wrong...but just how old are you? You don't look like a year over eighteen."

"I'm Twenty years old Zack, I turn twenty one in two months." She said happily

Rogue groaned out. "What the hell...I'm the youngest here."

Karma laughed. "You're always going to be the youngest Rogue."

She looked to Rogue curiously. "How old are you?"

"Nineteen, turning twenty in four months."

"Ahn..I see. I wouldn't be so down if I were you." Tina said as she got up. "For all you know I could be into younger males. Now I'm going to bed, if I find any of you anywhere near me I won't hesitate to use a spell on you." 

Karma and Rogue both stiffened. "Yes princess."

She smiled and waved goodbye before she walked off to her own tent.
