8: Karma and Tina's first 'date'

It didn't take long for Tina to have clothes that matched the color scheme of those in high class in Lanercost. As Karma took Tina out to see the kingdom Rogue and Zack both parted ways until that evening. Tina never went through the city of her own kingdom so seeing so much from a different kingdom made her be in awe struck. Karma told her so much that she had a hard time processing it all. 

As they got to a pub he pulled her into it and he had a drink be put in front of her, she looked at him skeptically. "You can't tell me that you want me to drink that. In my own kingdom it's illegal for anyone under the age of twenty one to drink."

"You're not there right now, in this one you are. Eighteen is the drinking age, so go on and try it. It's not going to kill you." Karma said with a grin 

"You...You're not going to make fun of me...are you?" Tina asked concerned

He shook his head. "Nah, I just want you to have fun. You're away from your home kingdom for the first time on your own. You deserve to live your life how you see fit."

She took a deep breath and took a small sip of the drink before she wrinkled her nose a bit. "What the hell is this?"

"It's called Fire Whiskey, which is the weakest thing my kingdom has liquor wise." He said with a grin 

"It taste like shit Karma."

"Yeah...if you're not use to the things here it can be gross. Not to worry I won't force you to drink it if you don't want to."

"I don't." She said disgusted

He finished his before he drank hers, he ordered her something different. It was in a different type of cup, seeing that it was pink she hoped that it tasted like strawberries. She wasn't let down as she tasted it on her tongue. Her eyes lit up before she drank it all in one, which surprised him. 

"Holy shit...No one ever does that...A-Are you okay?"

She shrugged. "Yeah I'm fine why ask?"

"Uh...That was one of the more stronger drinks here. It's called Hell's seed, mainly cause of the taste of strawberries it has since it reminds people of me." He said with a grin 

"So basically you indirectly had a drink named after your sorry ass." Tina stated bluntly

"Yup! Are you sure you're okay?" Karma asked concerned

"I'm fine, that was actually rather good. One of the best things I've had actually and I don't really like trying new things like that." Tina said with a small smile 

"Huh...You seem to have mellowed out. How come?"

"What you said to me...that I should live my life how I wish...I've always been told to be a certain way. I haven't been too harsh on you boys have I?" Tina asked concerned

Karma rubbed the back of his neck. "Sorta, getting hit all the damn time for touching you does get annoying. If I'm supposed to marry you, then I'd like to be able to give you small touches like hugging you and stuff."

She huffed out and crossed her arms. "I only did that before cause no blessings were given. We've spoken to your parents and gotten the blessing from your father. I'll allow hugs, cuddles when I want to, you placing your arm around me and you placing your hand on the top of my head. Just don't you dare try to kiss me, I refuse to have any male kiss me right now."

"Oh...I see, so it wasn't anything against us in general. You're just really old fashion, well that's fine. Did you want another drink or are you good?"

She shrugged. "That's up to you Karma."

He grinned and he placed his arm around her. "Let's test your limit missy."

Tina was slowly regretting the fact that she said what she had to him. Five more drinks later she was completely wasted, it took Karma carrying her on his back, back to the castle to get her out of the pub. Of course the entire time Tina was a chatty catty, speaking mostly about how much she hated her two elder sisters who she wanted to so badly kill. 

She then went into detail about how badly they had treated her, he was supposed to marry Emily. But hearing that she wouldn't have loved him cause she'd rather be with someone much older cause they have 'experience' made him sick to his stomach hearing out of her. When they got to the castle Rogue and Zack looked confused to Karma.

"What the hell did you do to Tina?" Zack asked

"I took her around the kingdom and she lived a little. Now she's drunk off her ass, I'm going to get her to bed."

"You did what?! That's not how you treat a princess Karma!" Rogue said shocked

"Yeah-yeah, you can scold me tomorrow if she starts throwing up strawberries." Karma said waving him off 

Once he got her to an empty room he shut the door after taking her shoes off of her. He then leaned against the door as Rogue and Zack where shaking their heads disapproving towards Karma. 

"Hey I had to do something, she was too damn stiff. I actually got a bit of information out of her while I was out with her. This might help the two of you as well." Karma said seriously 

They raised an eyebrow at her. "Really now?"

"Mhm, Tina was brainwashed by her mother to be old fashion. Until you two get the blessings of your parents she will refuse to let you two have small contacts with her. The only down side is that I can't kiss her. She refuses to let any guy kiss her and she wouldn't tell me why." Karma said with his arms crossed. 

"I wonder if it's because she's afraid of losing people?"Rogue asked 

"That or getting close to get hurt." Zack stated. "She did try to get close to three of those assholes from Oakheart only to get hurt so bad that it almost killed her."

"Yeah...That is true." Karma said with a nod of his head. "We can figure things out later, we just need to be mindful of her. We can't assume anything from her."
