22: Karma Vs Rico

When Sasori had taken Rogue, Zack, Rico and him back on the ship Kanato was arguing with Karma about Tina. The argument stopped when they saw Rogue, Zack and Sasori with a blond male they didn't know. "Who the hell is he?" Kanato asked

"Rico Wright, one of the males Tina spoke to us about." Zack stated

"Oh...So you're one of her faithful believers when she was a goddess then." Kanato stated

Rico smiled. "Yes...yes I am. Even if she isn't a goddess now-I'll still believe in her and the beautiful magic I know she can cast, and you are?"

"Kanato Sakamaki, one of the males who she has agreed to marry. This bastard here is supposed to be the first male to be her fiance but he screwed up pissing her off and upsetting her all at once." Kanato stated as he went from talking calm about himself to pointing to Karma as he glared at him hatefully

"What do you mean supposed to be? Am I missing something here?" Rico asked confused

"A few days ago Sasori had brought Tina to the ship after she had spent the night in Haran kingdom with me to get the blessing from my father. While we were in Haran, the goddess tyche had released the seal that the god Eric had placed on her magic abilities and her appearance. What we all saw at first was a purple haired female with green eyes, now with what she looks like it's hard for Karma Akabane-the male who is scowling at Kanato to believe that Tina is really her. I told them all that she changed in her appearance because of Tyche but none of them believed till they saw her...well all but him. He still believes that Tina isn't herself." Rogue stated with a sigh

Rico scoffed. "You must be really stupid or ignorant to think that the beautiful goddess and person Tina is would have purple hair and green eyes. she doesn't come from the Demon founder clan, she isn't an infidel to her own beliefs."

"Demon founder clan?" Zack asked confused

"Mhm, it's the only clan that was able to stay alive after the chaos ended, they hid themselves by the Oakheart Kingdom and couldn't be found. Now Karma if you wish to have proof that Tina is herself that is something I can give you." Rico said seriously

Karma crossed his arms. "Alright, go on."

Rico took a film picture out of his pocket under his cloak. "This is the picture that was taken of the goddess Tina with her seven chosen ones. She's in the middle with all of her chosen either behind, beside or in front of her."

Karma went towards the blond male only to see the female he saw in the picture was the same female he saw now-Black hair and pink eyes. Karma gave the picture back annoyed. "So, she's seriously like that? You realize around here anyone with Pink eyes spells out death yeah?"

"She's a goddess in the body of a mortal! She knows all the magic that anyone in this plain knows how to cast and then some! She will not die! She will not go to the lord of the dead that easily!"Rico said seriously

"I beg to differ on that, when I see her again she will die and you can't do anything about that." Karma said seriously

Rico took out his book and held his staff out to Karma. "You will have to go through my dead body to land a hand on her once more!"

Karma got his sword out before he pointed it at Rico. "Gladly."

Karma then went straight for him only to be turned into a child as his sword fell to the ground due to the weight it had. Child Karma couldn't pick it up making him cry as he dropped his sword. "You're a meanie! Why would you do this to me!?"

"You tried to kill me to kill a goddess. You need to be put in your place." Rico said seriously

Zack couldn't help but laugh. "Wow, you turned the brat into a brat."

Kanato had thought about what Rico said and looked down sadly. "Rico...you spoke about a demon clan earlier...I think I know why you couldn't find them."

Rico looked to Kanato curiously. "Oh?"

"My mother is from that clan, she's second generation which makes me third gen. I...I believe in her and the magic she uses...does that still makes me to be like my mother?" Kanato asked sadly

Rico went up to Kanato and placed his book away. "No, if you believe in the goddess Tina then you aren't an infidel. You are a believer just like anyone who has magic would be. You care for her do you not?"

Kanato nodded his head quickly looking up at the blond haired male. "I do."

"Then there is nothing for you to fret, you are more than what your mother would be."

Kanato sighed out in relief. "Oh...okay. That's good to hear."

At that time Tina came onto the ship with Arthur, she stopped in her tracks as she saw that Karma was a child. "W-What the living hell happened to Karma?"

"I changed him to be a child so he wouldn't kill you." Rico said looking to her with a smile

"Ahn....I see." Tina said before she went up to Karma kneeling down to him. "Karma, do you hate me?"

He shook his head. "No I don't hate you! Just there's rumors going around for the last two centuries that those with pink eyes are evil and give certain death to those who get close to them. I didn't want to die if the rumor was true."

"You believe anything you hear don't you?" Tina asked

"I...well sorta?"

Tina picked up the child Karma before placing her forehead against his, she saw that his mind had been altered by Eric but it was weak. She held onto him tightly before she placed a hand on the top of his head. Tina then spoke in old Greek as her body glowed pink, most of the males were surprised with what she was able to do. As magic flowed out of her and into Karma he went back to his original size and he went unconscious. Tina looked to Zack and Rogue, "Take him to his room but don't be hostile with him when he wakes. He had been slightly possessed by Eric-no doubt he's been fucking with the rest of you too."

"He really doesn't like you does he goddess?" Rico asked confused

Tina shook her head. "No sense I turned him down, but he'll deal with himself. I don't want to be anyone who deliberately makes people kill themselves like he does."

"But weren't you once like that Tina?" Rogue asked confused as he picked up Karma by his left arm

"When I was young yes, but I've learnt to curve my ways and be better than that-he hasn't learnt anything and that's going to be his downfall." Tina said seriously

"Either way he's a dick for making you deal with so much of his shit." Zack said picking up Karma's right arm.

Tina nodded her head in agreement. "I fully agree with you on that, but there's nothing I can do about his current position and what he does."

Zack and Rogue then dragged Karma's body to where his room was before Tina looked to Kanato. "Alright Kanato, we're going to your kingdom next. Is there anything I should be warned about with yours?"

Kanato placed his hands together sadly. "Yeah..there is. My mother was rather persistent on me marrying a woman from the Wright family. She told me that if I was to come back with one of the three daughters that I would be married to them no matter who they were."

Tina sighed out as she rubbed between her eyes. "Very well, I figured this would happen sooner or later. I need sleep before I deal with that woman you call a mother. So I'm going to nap for a bit, one of you gents wake me up when Karma wakes up-I need to speak with him. Also let Rogue and Zack know not to tell Karma about anything that has happened since I got onto this ship since I wish to tell him myself."

Kanato and Sasori nodded their heads as Arthur felt confused. "So what is going on here?"

"A minor set back, sit back for a bit while I settle things. Just know that while you're on this ship you are safe." Tina said before she walked off to her room.
