20: The Kingdom of Tamworth

It was a few days before they managed to get to the port, as they did instantly Tina could tell that there was something wrong. She got off of the boat as the others stayed since they didn't know what to do. Tina got close to the nearest city only to tear up as she saw that it was all in flames. "How...How did this happen? What caused this much chaos to happen?"

Tina then remembered Rico-one of the males she had gotten close to before was in the castle. She shut her eyes and placed her hands out she casted a time stop spell on the kingdom taking up most of her mana points before she bolted inside, she knew if she touched anything that wasn't the ground that she would make the time spell dispell, so she was rather careful with what she did. She inspected the entire kingdom as she went through it. Seeing all of the destruction that had happened, the thing that shattered her heart more than anything was the statue of her that was made broken into pieces and Eric's name written where her name should have been.

That's when she knew damn well that things were going to be hard for her, that it was by his hand things were tainted once more. She slipped through the broken doors of the castle as she saw that there was no one in the main part of it which confused her. So she went down to the lower floors only to see that people were in cages. She placed her hands together flatly one on top of the other as she cast a repeat of an unlock spell to unlock the people who lived in the castle.

Going lower she found Rico, a blond haired male with blue eyes. He held his spell book in his right arm as his left held his staff that was given to him by her. She smiled at the male before she went up to him, slowly and softly she placed her hands on his face. "I release you from your time prison Rico Wright."

As she did so time completely went on, Rico began to breath as his eyes widen seeing the goddess once more. "Goddess Tina...You've returned!"

Tina smiled. "Of course I have, I knew my faithful friend was awaiting me. Now...I need your help. Eric is at it again."

"I'll do my best to help you my goddess."

"People don't know me as the goddess I once was-They know me as a princess."

He looked stunned. "P-Princess?! You....You've been reborn as a princess?"

"Yes Rico I have. Ironically a princess to your very own blood line. My name is Princess Tina Wright." She said with a giggle

"Well then, this just got awkward. You realize for the longest time I've had the crush from hell on you Tina."

"Yeah well now you can't, so deal. Anyways...Part of what I need your help with is with a male who is supposed to take place beside me but he's been a complete douche to me. I need you to confirm what one of the others already knows about me." Tina said sadly

Rico rubbed between his eyes. "Oh dear, you can explain things to me later. I can sense chaos above us."

"Yeah...it's pretty bad. Eric's influenced people again."

"Fuck...Alright I'll do my best to help out."

The two of them went up seeing that those who were in the cages where no longer there that they were outside trying to save their kingdom. But none of them had the resources to do so, Tina looked to Rico, "we need to place the fires out first. Think you can help me get above the kingdom enough to do a spell to keep the fire from spreading anymore?"

"I got a better idea." Rico said before he went in the middle of the kingdom where the broken goddess statue was. "Assholes, that'll be fixed soon."

He slammed his staff down and he read out of his book, reading in old Greek as he reversed all the damage that had been done as well as the people that had been brutally murdered. They were able to see just what happened to the small kingdom, as the kingdom became more together it was easy to see that two of Eric's minions had came out of nowhere and began to attack the kingdom. No doubt because of Rico being a rather large source of magic and being one of her chosen ones. As the kingdom was restored and the creatures were about to attack again Tina froze the creatures before she let out a flare letting the boys know to get their asses moving.

Soon in front of Tina was Sasori, Rogue, and Zack. "Kanato with Karma?"

"Mhm, we couldn't leave him unsupervised. We knew he'd be useless here anyways." Sasori said with a nod of his head

"Very well then. Zack Sasori please deal with the one on the left-Rogue come with me we'll deal with the right. Rico I need you to be a dearie and stay back with the towns folk. Make sure none of the people here get close to those things."

"Yes ma'am." Rico said before he began to do what he was told.

Sasori and Zack were already gone to the left monster, Rogue was shocked to see how big the creature was. "Holy shit...."

"C'mon, that's just a kid one. The one I fought before was twice as big."

Rogue looked to her sadly and went with her, she gave him support so he'd be able to do more damage, she even gave him a few clones just so things could go faster. As Rogue made the last hit on the creature it turned to dust and the clones went away. They looked to the left to see that the elder one was just disappearing as well. Rogue sat on the ground tired. "Damn that was hard to do."

"Think about how I managed to kill a bigger one on my own Rogue."

"Yeah...I'm really regretting what I did. You do forgive me for that right?"

"Of course I do, getting cuddles from you was how I forgave you." She said with a grin

He smiled at her. "Good to know."

Tina went up to him and energized him before they walked back to the castle of the kingdom. There they met up with Zack and Sasori, Rico smiled at Tina before he happily went up to her and went down to his knee. "I don't care if you are now a princess, Tina you will always be a goddess to me. Thank you for what you've done, I'm grateful to be able to see you working so hard for our peace once more." He said as he placed a hand on his heart

The three males looked confused and baffled at the male as Tina just smiled as she went up to Rico. "As always you've been nothing more than loyal to me Rico Wright, I am glad to see you well even with that time spell on you. I assure you it was not for not, I will gladly take your help to guide those at my side to be better people at my side. The last place we go is home, which I hope to introduce you to your brother's son and his wife."

"Very well, I am ready for the quest ahead of me my goddess. Anything you wish is my command, I swear it on the book of truth that you have given me and my staff of time."

"I trust your words, rise Rico. There's much to do, I need you to await for me on the ship that is just north here with these three males. Sasori from Mirfield, Zack from Ascot and Rogue for Haran." Tina stated

As each one of the males spoke they grinned and either waved or bowed. Rico got up and he grinned. "Very well I'll await for you there. Only call and I'll be at your side."

Sasori then took the four of them back to the boat as Tina smiled at the royal family that looked confused as they were standing close together. "Afternoon to you all, my name is Princess Tina Wright, goddess of magic. I know it may sound strange but it is what it is. I know months prior Risa Wright had made a statement that was placed out to each kingdom-did you get that statement?"

The King nodded his head. "We did, we don't accept letters coming from a princess-especially one like her. We know better than to think that the King of Wright would allow his eldest daughter to call the shots like that."

Tina smiled as she placed her hands together in front of her. "Very wise of you, I have a message from my dearest father- something you should take to heart."

"Very well, come with us back inside. I can only guess you're the one who took my people and I out of the cells we were placed in?" The elder male said as he walked off
