All the boys stared at the door of the room Patricia had been taken to. They waited anxiously for doctor to come out and say she’ll be OK.
When the white-coated figure did come out of the room, they boys jumped up.
“How is she?” they all asked in unison, giving the doctor a fright.
“She’ll be fine.” The doctor said, “She just had a panic attack. Nothing too dangerous, but you have to keep her away from shock for a week. I prescribe nothing but a happy atmosphere.” The doctor was about to walk away but then stopped.
“Are you familiar with the fact,” the doctor paused, debating whether she should mention it or not. “That she had bruises and cuts all over her body.” Louis felt Liam tense up beside him. “She was obviously abused. And the cuts, the look like they’ve been done purposely, with a razor or blade”. Louis looked at Liam as his face changed from worried to frighten. He obviously knew something the rest of the boys didn’t. “If she’s interested,” the doctor continued, “She could see counsellor. I would recommend it strongly. I need one person to stay with her tonight, in case she wakes up. You can take her home tomorrow, and see her two at a time.”
As the doctor strode away, Louis continued to look at Liam. He was about to go into the room that Patricia lied in motionlessly, but Louis dragged him by the arm to a corner.
“Spill it, Payne,” was all Louis had to say. He knew very well that Liam knew what he was talking about. And as Louis had suspected, Liam played dumb.
“What?” he said, with a blank expression.
“Don’t play, mate,” Louis rolled his eyes. “You had this coming. You tensed up when the doctor talked about the bruises and cuts on Patricia, what do you know?” No reply. Louis sighed. “Liam, if you tell me, I might be able to help.”
“Patricia cuts.”
“That’s what the doctor said too,” Louis said, his brows furrowed.
“I caught her red-handed,” Liam said, “And I sort of know the reason.”
“What do you mean?”
“It was mentioned in her diary-“
“You read her diary?” Louis interrupted. Liam sighed and continued as if Louis hadn’t remarked on it.
“-that it was ‘him’”.
“’Him’ who?”.
“I don’t know. It could be anyone.” Liam replied, “She was about to tell me but she passed out.”
Louis rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
“Maybe you should stay with her the night.” Louis said, but then changed his mind. “Or we should.” He said, as in Liam and Louis.
“We’ll take turns,” Liam agreed.
They headed to the rest of the boys and saw that all three of them had seen Patricia. The scene was quite amusing.
Niall was crying buckets out. Zayn was trying to console him, but evidently keeping himself from crying. Harry was just sitting there, staring into space.
If it was any other occasion, Louis would have burst out laughing, but he didn’t. All of the boys’ behaviour was justified.

Harry was this close to figuring out where he knew Patricia from. It was on the tip of his tongue. It had something to do with home; as in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Where he was raised.
There was no doubt about the fact that he knew Patricia. Everything about her seemed familiar. The silence was the most familiar, according to him.
The words that left Louis’s mouth snapped him back to life.
“Liam and I are going to take the night.”
“Wait!” Harry said. “Can I, as well? Please?” he added. Liam and Louis exchanged looks. What was going on there? They were plotting something, but Harry didn’t care. He needed to figure out where he knew Patricia from.
None of you guessed my costume, but some were pretty close! It’s a cheetah! Because of the close ones, I decided to write a longer chapter. This is a 700 rather than the normal 500 words. So, be sure to thank them.
Any who, what do you think is going to happen? Drop me in the guesses.
HAVE YOU ALL NOTICED THAT I’M NEARLY AT 50,000 READS? OMG!
I have a new story in mind by the way. It’s going to be called 21st Century Breakdown. I don’t have the plot fully figured out, but who thinks they might have an idea what it might be about? Drop me in the guesses. And who thinks they might like to read a story called 21st Century Breakdown. (It's 1D of coarse)
See you in a few days, when I update next. Until then, 14 comments and 30 votes? Please?

PS: Even if I do love to update and need to finish this story, I do have exams after midterm, so hope you're understanding.
