Prologue

Kimberly's POV

Hi, my name is Kimberly and I am 14 years old. I live with my older sister and dentist, Karlie. I had an alright life living with my sister who is nice but also the thing that I fear the most. She works with her best friend Taylor, who is a dental assistant but is levelling up in her schooling to become a dentist like Karlie. Our parents died when I was 5 but Karlie was finished high school and we lived in her house which wasn't far from her school. Karlie finished in 2 years and started taking care of me and she worked 3 days a week for 2 days she would stay home and do paperwork and make food for us. When I was 7 years old, Karlie thought it would be a good idea if she took me to her office when no one was there, but it wasn't, as a week ago, I had dental screenings at my school and Karlie didn't know that the person there was hurting me so I was terrified that she would hurt me as well but Karlie literally wanted the best for me and she told me she wouldn't hurt me but I still am terrified of the dentist. Karlie said she's only afraid of hurting me and is concerned about everything I do. Even though I thought I could take care of myself, I didn't mind Karlie taking care of me even though it was like overprotection but a lot of people would probably like to have their sister be protective. Karlie spent most of her free time with me and I didn't mind it as a lot of people at school didn't like me or just don't want to hang out with me. I was basically an outcast but Kianie and Kate both do hang out with me.
