With Marko:
Marko lowered his head, almost ashamed of his brother's accusation. He crossed his arms, and sighed, " Of course I want to turn her!" He stated, growing silent
Dwayne raised an eyebrow, " No Marko, I don't think you do." He said, " Why don't you wanna turn her?" Dwayne asked.
Marko stared at Paul, Dwayne, and Paul before shrugging.
" I don't know..." He said honestly, " Whenever I'm near her I feel weird and...I like the way she looks at me. I like that she thinks I'm this perfect guy, this normal human guy. You guys haven't seen her thoughts as I have. She always thinks about others before herself and she was willing to get kicked out of her house over me. Me! If she knew I was a vampire do you really think she still would've done that? I...I don't know..." Marko ranted, dreaming about every moment he'd spent with Davina.
Dwayne furrowed his brows, " Davina would've done the same thing." He said sure.
David nodded, " Yeah."
Marko scoffed, " You think if she saw me tear into women's throat she'd forget and move on? No, she wouldn't know what to do with me." He said with a pure strong voice.
Paul looked like he wanted to smack Marko, " Dude, she ran her because she was kicked from her house. You heard her thoughts, she didn't even know she ran here! She's drawn to you just like you are to her! Sure it's less, but fate is gonna keep pulling her until you turn her. It's our nature to turn our mates, in our blood even." Paul said, " Do you really think she'll survive your mating mark? She wouldn't survive three minutes with a bite! She's human, she's valuable and vulnerable. I've only known her for almost a week and I'd kill anyone who looked at her in a way I didn't like. It's either turn her or let her go and never speak to her again. But you need to make a choice because if you aren't turning her, stop leading her on!" Paul shouted. Paul never shouted at Marko.
With that Paul turned around and began walking towards the cave entrance, leaving David and Dwayne with Marko.
David took an aggravated breath, " Do what you want. But like Paul said, stop messing with Davina."
Dwayne didn't even look at Marko as he walked away. Marko threw his hands in the air, " Guys! Guys really!" He shouted after them.
Once their figures disappeared Marko tugged his hair. He wanted to scream at someone. He wanted to be with Davina, more than anything in the world, but he didn't want her to see him different.
He didn't want her to think he was a monster.
Imagine seeing the person you love as something your family fears most. Davina's family were literally vampire hunters. Marko, a vampire, was in love with the hunter's little sister. How tragic.
He inhaled sharply and dropped to his knees, he took a few breaths before punching the sand. He did this a few times until he felt calm, meaning he was there for a few minutes just punching the ground.
Why was everything so complicated?
Davina Pov:
I stared at Marko from afar, watching him from behind some rocks.
" You think if she saw me tear into women's throat she'd forget and move on? No, she wouldn't know what to do with me." Marko yelled, making my eyes go wide.
What was he talking about!?" Dude, she ran her because she was kicked from her house.
This was crazy!
The conversation continued until the boys eventually left Marko by himself.
Marko's a vampire. Marko's an actual vampire...that's why he asked me all those questions! He wanted to know If I'd let him turn me!?
I took a deep breath, watching him punch and ground screaming. Somehow he still looked flawless. This explained so much, why I only saw him at night, why he misses the sunset, why he acts so possessive. Everything was falling into place. Edger and Alan were right...I turned around, getting ready to walk away.
" Davina?"
Fuck.
" Heyyyyyyy Marko," I said as I slowly turned around, coming face to face with the boy I'd come to love.
His eyes were sad as he looked at me, " You heard." He said blandly. I nodded, " You're a vampire." I stated.
" And you're my mate." He said right after me.
" Is that why you like me? Because of the mating bond?" I asked.
Marko smiled and shook his head, " No. I like you because you're a genuine person who I can be around without wanting to stake myself." He said.
I raised an eyebrow, " Oh, you got jokes now? A little vampire humor?"
He shrugged, still grinning, " Maybe." He quickly became serious, " Are you scared?" He asked.
I thought about it. Sure it was crazy to think about, but as long as he loved me the same I'd love him the same. " No."
" Are you gonna leave me?"
" No."
" Why?" He asked. He was confused as to why I would possibly want him.
I smiled and licked my lip, taking a step closer to him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and leaned in so that my breath was fanning over his beautiful reddish-pink lips.
" Because you're stuck with me whether you like it or not," I said repeating his words from earlier.
With that I closed the gap between us, connecting his lips with mine.
Instantly Marko was puddy in my hands, melting as my hands made their way into his long blonde hair. He let out a soft sigh of relief, thanking the moon goddess in his head for his wonderful mate.
I smiled as I felt Marko's tongue swipe my lower lip, asking silently for entrance. Gratefully I allowed Marko to take control, laughing slightly when my wonderful vampire broke away to snarl jokingly in my ear.
" Scared yet?" He asked." Baby, I'm feeling something, but it's definitely not fear..."
Well? Well, what do you think? Yeah? Was this chapter good or was it shit? Y'alls opinions help me a lot and please suggest what I should do next chapter, it'd help a lot because I'm getting a brain-fart from writing. I love you all! Good morning/night!💜🖤
