That wasn't Azrael. I knew it. His whole posture and scent were off.

"EVERYONE LEAVE!" I yelled as I ran.

I made sure to quickly brief Boris and Bodhi what was happening as everyone was evacuating the house.

The house went black and I saw the silhouette of two pairs of black wings appeared around me. Teeth were bared and they closed the gap between me and them. They didn't know I could fly. They left a space open above them. Light from the outside streamed down to me.

'Perfect.' I thought.

"Well, well, well what do we have here." 'He' hissed

"Hello, Azazel long time no see. But then again you never show you're dumb face."

He made a gesture and my arms were held behind my back. Skinny, bony hands of ebony.

The smell of death was on both of them.

Azazel grabbed my face and forced me to look him in the eyes. I shook violently and my vision went white. Vision hazy I heard voices.

"Lourdes!" A familiar voice spoke.

A pair of warm arms but cold hands drag me somewhere cold. My eyes spring open and I'm met with the eyes of gold belonging to one Angelia Beorhtric. I spring out her grasp and hissed at her.

"You have no reason to hiss at me. I did nothing to you."

'This isn't real.' I had to repeat that to myself. 'You aren't my best friend...She died ten years ago and this an illusion.'

"Come on Lourdi you don't remember me." She said stepping towards me.

"I remember,...but you're dead."

She laughed her airy, breathy, high-pitched laugh. Same platinum blond hair, and tan skin.'She's dead' I reminded myself. She looks older than when she died. She isn't real. Her eyes aren't gold they were grey. Her smile wasn't that bright. She rarely ever smiled. She didn't laugh either. She was a miserable person. Her only moment of happiness was when she died.

Every step she took towards me I stepped back.

"I killed you! Your death is because of me!" I yelled and the illusion warped for a second. Her smile vanished and she looked furious and as though she was confused but she knew. She died with that same dumb smile on her face.

"How am I here then." She grabbed me and I stumbled out of her grasp.

From the ground, I saw her body in the distance. Blood spilling from her. She was sixteen when she died and this 'ghost' looked like her but the same age as me. I ran towards her body and she chased after me. I jumped over it and knelt behind it. Forcing her to look at herself. She wept and sunk to her knees.

"You're an illusion."

I pushed her to be in the same position as her body and she disappeared. The illusion shifted and changed and I was met with a new image. This time I was met with the younger version of me.The human version anyway. She looked at a cliff and I approached her slowly and cautiously.

"Hello." She murmured

"Hi," I replied nervously

Her eyes were an icy blue. She had choppy black bangs and she had freckles. She wasn't me. I was boisterous, my hair is brown, and my eyes are green. She wasn't real. I would've jumped into the water below.

"Jump," I said in a monotone

"Why?"

"I was fearless. But you're scared. You can't be me if you're scared."
