She morphed back into her human form. She was quivering and she looked mortified."I wasn't thinking. When I'm in an animal forms its mostly instinct."

We went back to the house and I made sure that she didn't escape again. I watched her closely and even noticed things she thinks I don't notice, I do. She seems to act pretty well behaved around mostly everyone. Everyone except for me, Boris, and his brother Bruno. The two still puzzle me. The thought that someone birthed not one but two children with supernatural abilities and both are creatures that can grow to monstrous sizes and can smash someone without much effort.

The three of us are the strongest and so we are the protectors and we watch over our little family of ours. Even though there are Angus and Igna we have control over our powers and we've had lots of practice throughout the years. We are eternal and long-living beings so whether we like it or not we might have to spend eternity with one another. But lives can always be cut short. I went to sleep that night feeling uneasy for the first time in years.

The bloodthirst is becoming stronger than ever. I looked down at my bloodstained hands. 'What have I done ?' I looked around at the bodies of my family 'Monster! I'm nothing but a Monster!' "I'm sorry mom and dad." I wept and cried onto their dead bodies. I then felt a hot searing pain through my back. I cried out in pain.

I woke up with a start. A hand over my barely beating heart. I was terrified. I haven't dreamt about my life in years. I never intended to reveal how bloodthirsty I was. I was always pale so when I was bitten no one thought anything of it. The only things I chose to remember were the fact that I tried to drown myself. But of course, I couldn't I washed up on the shores here and was protected and later made a protector. I attempted suicide again and again until finally Michael just put me in chains to protect me from myself. Even though, I became quite acquainted with a figure of death, Azrael. We marked each other. Deep and permanent marks. Marked with each other's bites and scents. His of ammonia and mine of jasmine.

He came back to the house with me and flew me up to my room.

"LOURDES, I thought I told you to watch..." Bodhi stopped short when he saw Azrael had me in his arms.

Even he knew that no one yells at me when Azrael was around. Which is pretty often from time to time. I was placed on the ground and turned towards my room with him on my arm. He noticed the mark, I could tell by the way the air stiffened. I turned back towards Bodhi and noticed how big his eyes were dilated in what seemed like fear. I dropped my voice down to below a whisper.

"Watch Dio closely. She has been acting suspicious lately."

I turned and he grabbed my wrist harshly tugging me backward. Azrael snarled at Bodhi and he let go.

"It's alright Az no need to be hostile."

He put a possessive arm around my waist and glared at Bodhi. He wouldn't harm anyone without cause, especially when it came to me. I never knew why but the two never truly trusted each other. Both have known me for about the same amount of time.

I decided to try again. I opened the window and allowed myself to plummet. Only to be caught by a pair of strong arms and flown back up to my room and placed back in my bed. I tried to move but he wasn't having it with my suicide attempts. He cast a dark shadow over me and I died temporarily. But I woke and revived a couple of hours later

I decided to go swimming. I just dove and let the current take me wherever it wanted. A big dark figure swam by me. "I see you" it chanted over and over as it circled me as it does its prey. But I knew this creature and it knew better than to even touch me. She swam away.

A whirlpool, however, was swirling and going straight for me. I swam away from it, but to no avail, it caught me and grabbed me and took me further underneath the water.

'I wonder where it's taking me.' I closed my eyes and tried to enjoy the involuntary ride. It began taking me to the surface.

'No, no, no let me stay down here.' I fought against the water-like fingers but they had a firm grip. I tried biting at it but of course, it's water. I rose to the surface and was spat out onto the shore.

"Lourdes."

"Bodhi" There was a beat of silence both of us infuriated by the other.

"Why did you get me? It's not like I can drown!"

"I know that, but I'm putting you in charge of watching Dio while Hoshi and Farida are practicing."

"Why can't she watch them practice or even better why doesn't she just practice WITH them," I yelled with annoyance.

He paused looking me up and down with an incredulous look.

"Hoshi and Dio can both turn into foxes. Why not have them practice together."

"I just need you to watch her. She is still healing. Just make sure she doesn't get into any trouble. Okay?"

"Alright," I then bound back into the water and was snatched back and brought onto land again. "It was worth a shot." I then ran back to the house before I could be reprimanded.

I stopped short in the doorway. Dio was holding a bottle of a liquid. 'Was that holy water' She was dripping some into her eyes. I jumped and held onto the ceiling as I saw her turn around.

"Oh, no-no-no." I peeked back into the room and saw that she knocked the bottle over. She then got up and left the room. I went back onto the floor and I walked inside the room. I stepped into the liquid. I forgot that I was barefoot because the liquid started to burn.

"Ah" I grunted in pain and leaped out of the puddle. I turned and saw Diodotus standing there with a mop. She immediately went to work cleaning up the mess.

"Dio is that...holy water? Why do you have it? and where did you get it?"

There was a long silence and she was deep in thought. As if conflicted with herself as to if to tell me or not.

Ultimately she shook her head as a response. I bared my teeth in annoyance. I gave her a really long look and suddenly I knew everything. Where she got it? Who she got it from? And last but not least why she needed it.

" Clean this up," I said in a monotone voice and left the room. I understood everything.
