Like any silence, it was eventually broken. For the Queen had come to a decision. As much as she and her children hated the idea. A marriage alliance was put in place.No more blood needed to be shed. So the silence was broken by the solemn sound of wedding bells. Princess Lily was to be married off to Prince Jonathan Tristan Cotton of the Stocaea Dynasty.

The King-To-Be was all smiles as he thought he got what he wanted: A beautiful bride. Lily walked down the aisle with her head held high and her brother by her side. She said the bare minimum when address during the ceremony. Anyone who didn't know her would think it was nerves. She was unwavering in her facade. The majority of the people in attendance were aware that she was the daughter of the Queen. But not many knew about her powers and didn't notice that vines were snaking their way down her legs and arms. Until it was too late.

After the wedding ceremony was over. There was a coronation. Making the pair of royals King and Queen of the Stocaea Dynasty. The crown was placed on her head. They were escorted outside to greet the public. The people cheered and congratulated the union.

"LONG LIVE KING JONATHAN! LONG LIVE QUEEN LILLIAN!" The majority of the crowd cheered.

Those who knew it was a forced marriage were silent but gave the new Queen a knowing smile.

"LONG LIVE QUEEN LILLIAN!" They cheered as they saw more of her vines. Her dress was no longer the white wedding gown. But she was being covered by vines.

Her vines wrapped around her new husband and held him above the crowd. Those who knew what was happening ran out of the way. Leaving the rest of the crowd confused as to why people were running away. Some vines were like tentacles, held his arms.

"Lillian. What are you doing?... I have done nothing for you to hurt me." He pleaded

"You ordered servants to kill your parents and your siblings. Then you armed men to try and assassinate my mother and everyone living in Zairyn castle." She yelled out to the crowd. The crowd gasped and booed their ruler.

"What is the punishment for regicide ?"

"Death" They cheered

"All right." A tentacle vine came up to his head and took the crown from his head. Lilly held the crown in her hand. She winked at him before her vines dropped him. The crowd parted as the ruler hit the ground.

"I have protected you from a murderer. Will you serve me as your Queen?"

The crowd bowed.

"Guards! Please clean up Jonathan's remains."
