•^Kokichi's POV^•
As soon as I had heard the knock at the door, I instantly glared at the door as if it were a person. I sighed, hearing another knock on the door."Who is it..~?" I asked, forcing my voice to be more cheerful.
"Rantaro." I heard from behind the door.
"What do you need, Rantarroo?" I asked, making my annoyance obvious.
"Kokichi, can you come outside, please?" Rantaro asked from behind the door, I could barely even hear him.
"Whyyyyy?" I asked again, getting really annoyed with Rantaro.
"I can barely even hear you, just come outside please."
I sighed, hesitantly walking towards the door. And that's when I started to get lost in my thoughts.
Is this really a good idea? Maybe... He just wants to tell me how much he hates me, or something...Even if he was in the game for a short time, he still has all the right reasons to hate me...
And without even realizing it, I stopped right in front of the door, and I had a few tears rolling down my cheeks.
"Kokichi? What's wrong? Hello?"
Oh yeah, I forgot Rantaro was at the door, waiting for me to answer.
"...R-Right, uh, so-sorry..."
I answered the door, hating myself for stuttering.
I wiped my tears as soon as I answered the door, rubbing my eyes.
"What do you want, Amami-Chan?" I asked, pouting slightly.
"Ah, well...Kirumi asked me to call you down for dinner, Kokichi."
"Really? Oh. Tell her I'm not hungry then. Bye, Amami-Chan~!" I started to close the door, and then, Rantaro blocked the door with his foot. What the hell, Rantaro.
"Actually...There's something else I need to tell you, Kokichi."
"Oh, really? What is it?"
"Well, everyone was thinking about meeting up together after school, tomorrow."
"Meeting up? Like...Hanging out together...?" I asked hesitantly, Amami nodding in response.
"Oh well, uh...T-Tell them...I'm gonna be busy after school doing some stuff!" I forced myself to smile at him, hating how awkward the situation had just become.
"Ah, alright...See you another time then, Kokichi." Rantaro added before he turned around and left.
"Bye, Amami-Chan.." But he didn't hear me, he was too far away by the time I had said it. And with that, I turned around and ran into my bedroom, flopping down onto my bed. I hugged my pillow as tight as I could, closing my eyes, trying to sleep. And eventually, I fell asleep. And I had what I thought was a dreamt first, but oh how so wrong I was...This wasn't a dream.
It was a nightmare.
