Another Investigation?

I walked down the stairs, and I walked into the cafeteria.

I don't really know what to call it in all honesty..we never really discussed what to call it. Dining hall? Yeah, I'll call it the dining hall.

Well, I walked into the dining hall, and looked around at all of the people who were there.
Kirumi, Kiyo, Gonta, Kaito, Maki, Kaede, Tenko, Kiibo, Angie, and finally Rantaro.

Mostly everyone was there, only a few people weren't. Which, honestly wasn't too surprising, in all honesty. The few people who were missing were Miu, Himiko, Ryoma, and Kokichi. And obviously Tsumugi, although she wasn't there the whole time we had gotten here, so I wasn't too surprised at that.

They all probably had their own reasons why they weren't there, so I decided not to really look into it all that much. I decided to sit down at the table while everyone was talking around me. They were all having their own conversations, so I decided not to but in.

But, I did start thinking about the reasons why Miu, Himiko, Ryoma and Kokichi weren't here yet. Miu always spent her time at night working on her inventions, so she was probably just sleeping in or something. Himiko was always sleepy, so I'm guessing she was just still asleep or something, or she was doing something else..I don't really know, honestly. Ryoma usually showed up late to breakfast during the killing game, so it wasn't all that surprising. Kokichi was probably...actually, I don't really know about Kokichi. He usually was pretty early at the breakfast meetings during the killing game, but I decided not to worry about it all that much, I just hoped he was alright.

We all talked for a while and slowly but surely all of the missing people started to arrive. First it was Himiko, and Tenko and Angie were pretty relived about that. They both had basically tackled her once she had arrived.

Next was Miu, and surprisingly, Kaede seemed quite relived about it. She didn't really go over to Miu like Tenko and Angie had done with Himiko, she just stood there staring at her from a far. Hmm..weird. Although, Kiibo did express his concern, and he was visibly relived she had arrived.

Ryoma shortly arrived after Miu had, and we were all quite relived about that. I'm not really too sure why, but I guess we were all relieved all of our friends were still alive. I'm aware that's sounds quite a bit odd, but we were trapped in a killing game where we didn't know when our friends would die. And it was always reliving seeing everyone was there.

We waited a while longer, about 20 more minutes, but Kokichi had never arrived. Which was very concerning. Obviously, he probably wasn't dead, but something might have happened to him. And although he could be quite annoying and frustrating at times, he was still our friend, so all of us were worried about him.

Finally, Kirumi had said something about Kokichi's sudden disappearance,
"Everyone, I apologize for questioning everyone so suddenly, but has anyone seen Kokichi around today?"

One way or another we all answered no.

And then, Kaede had an idea, "Oh! How about we go look for him? I'm sure he hasn't gone to far if he left the dorms, there aren't many places where he would be able to go."

We all agreed to her plan, and we decided we might as well split into groups. There weren't really a certain amount of people to each group, it was all pretty random, honestly.

I was teamed up with Rantaro and Kiibo, and I didn't really pay much attention to where everyone else went.

We all left the dining hall, and Rantaro decided we could check his dorm first. Rantaro and Kiibo had a small conversation as I walked behind them. I added to the conversation at times, but I didn't do it often, I didn't really want to seem rude. And as the conversation went on, I muttered to myself quietly,
"So this is like another investigation, huh..?"
