Why?

•^ Kokichi's POV ^•

Crap.

Shit.

Fuck.

How the hell did they find me? Where they looking for me? Why were they looking for me?  What time is it? Am I late for breakfast? How long have I been here?

All of these things came to mind as I stared at Shuichi Kiibo and Rantaro who were standing in front of me. None of us said anything, we all just stared for a few seconds, although it felt like it was longer.

And then, Rantaro spoke up suddenly,

"We were looking for you..So, were you here the whole time, Kokichi?"

He smiled lightly as he spoke, I'm guessing he did that for a little bit of reassurance, which I appreciated a lot, honestly.

I nodded slowly before responding after a while.

"Oh, yeah. I've been here for quite a while now! Why do you ask?" I tilted my head slightly before I spoke again, "Did you guys miss me?"

I waited for they're reactions, and I couldn't help but smile, no matter how much I tried not to.

Kiibo and Shuichi just got all flustered and they were rambling on with excuses. It was honestly pretty funny.

But, Rantaro was kinda disappointing because he just chuckled lightly. And, there wasn't really anything wrong with his reaction, it was a pretty normal reaction from Rantaro..it was just..boring. I noticed Rantaro was going to speak, so I quickly stood up and started walking back in the direction of the dorms.

"Well, are you guys coming or not? If you are then hurry up, you guys are so slow."

I looked behind as I said that and unsurprisingly, Kiibo, Rantaro and Shuichi were following me back. And, you might be wondering why I got up when Rantaro was going to say something. And the simple answer is because I didn't want to hear what he had to say.

Obviously, that was kinda mean, but I didn't want to be lectured by Rantaro or something. I just.. wanted to get back to the dorms and go to school in like..10 minutes or something, I don't know.

Apparently, school starts at like 8:30 and it was  8:21 right now, so it was honestly quite lucky that they had found me in time. But, I couldn't help but wonder..

Why did they come looking for me in the first place?

I mean, I get that they were probably concerned...but they could've just left me.

I know a few people wouldn't care if I were missing.

Like Kaito, Maki, Miu, Gonta..the main people I upset in the game. They were all still mad at me. And even if they tried not to show it..anyone would be able to tell they were still mad. Even Gonta, who claimed he wasn't upset with me.

So..

Why?

Why do they even care?

They all hated me in the game..

So why do they care now?

Why?

Why would they worry about me?

Why?
