After some amazing times on the beach with your best friends you left and went out to eat at your favorite restaurant, while you were there you couldn't help but tease Olivia for the looks she was giving Zack. He seemed absolutely clueless but it was cute how she was trying so hard to get him to fall for her.
You all ate lunch and laughed and ended up having a small food fight, the waitress asked if you could kindly pay for your food and leave. You all laughed and caused as scene as you left the restaurant. Once back in the car Riley started crying, everyone began asking what was wrong.
She turned and explained that once you moved to LA things like, getting kicked out of restaurants and beach trips won't happen anymore. You all got pretty quiet after that and just sat in comfortable silence as Zack drove back to the house. Once inside you all talked it out and decided no matter what you'd always stick together, that's when you got a FaceTime from Griffin.
"Hey Griff." You answered
"Hey y/n.. hey girls.." he said quickly
"What's up?" You asked
"Well actually I was calling to tell you, I got approved to be your legal guardian under short term placement." He smiled as he shared the news
"GRIFFIN!! That's awesome!!" You yelled excitedly
"Yeah so as soon as I fill out the final paper work you'll be on a plane back to Illinois so you can spend Christmas with us, then you'll come back to LA with me"
you smiled and a happy tear fell from your eye. But a sinking sadness that you'd be separated from your best-friends began sinking in.
"When do you think that will be?" You asked subtly wiping away your tear
"Maybe a day or so" he said
"Okay, I guess I need to pack up my stuff and mail it to your house?" You asked
"Yeah I think that would be the best plan" he smiled brightly.
"Okay cool, text me with the details okay?" You asked
"Will do. Love you y/n/n"
"Bye, love you too Griff" you smiled and ended the call
You and the girls began the quick walk to your apartment building, you stopped along the way and grabbed a big box that would fit all your clothes, you wouldn't need bed sheets or books nothing like that. You'd have a completely redecorated room a room that actually felt like home, in Griffins house. The only thing sentimental in your room, were your drawings on the wall from when you were a child.
You packed your clothes, and shoes, and makeup into one large box, and any gifts or anything that actually meant something to you into a separate smaller box. Once you had completed packing your room you went throughout the apartment making sure there was nothing else you wanted. Once you confirmed you had all you needed you left the apartment, boxes in hand, and headed towards the post office.
Once you'd given your boxes to the post office you began a decent back towards Riley's house. It was roughly 6pm so you had some dinner and all passed out. It was a long day for you three.
The next morning Olivia wanted to go bestie shopping one last time. You agreed and changed into clean clothes.
Olivia wore a white cropped tank top, ripped mom jeans, and her white converse.
You wore a white cropped tank top, ripped mom jeans, and your Doc Martens.
Riley wore a black cropped tank top, ripped mom jeans, and her white converse.
After the dressing was done you all met in the kitchen with Zack he was wearing, a black hoodie with some type of green patterned shorts, and his brown checkered vans.
Once everyone was together you all headed out with Zack but he wasn't driving this time, he had just become a part of the girl group. He was always designated photographer.
You all ended up in the subway and asked if Zack could snap a quick picture for you.
