You woke up the next morning to a loud banging on the door, you opened it up to find Macy outside.
"Hey y/n I have a quick question for you" she said as she shoved past you and into your room
"Uh, yeah what's up Mac" you said with a confused tone
"Do you wanna go hiking with all of us today?" She asked as she opened up your suit case and began going through the clothes you had
"Oh a hike! Sure, yeah I'd love to go." You said still confused and her rummaging through your clothes
"Okay, you can borrow some of my stuff if yo don't have hiking clothes." She said as she rose from the floor and left your room
You giggled at the strange interaction you'd just had with her, you threw your hair up in a bun and grabbed out your oversized band t-shirt, bike shorts, some nike socks, and tennis shoes.
Once you were dressed you popped in your contacts and you were ready for your hike, you left your room and noted that everyone was wearing something to keep themselves warm.
Griffin, had his signature ripped jeans, and a band t-shirt just like yours.
Macy, had a tan hat on with a oversized stripped button up shirt, along with some black shorts.
Graham, was wearing cargo shorts and a striped blue, black and read jacket.
Alex, was wearing her hair down, she had on black sweat pants and one of Graham's sweatshirts.
Kacey had on a white t-shirt with a red stripe, and some denim shorts, she had her hair up in two braids.
However, you weren't to worried about being cold, seeing as you were used to the New York Climate. You all spilt up in two separate cars, you rode with Griffin and Macy, while Kacey, Alex and Graham were in the other car. The ride was longer than you expected but once you arrived you couldn't get over how breathtaking the scenery was.
The trail you were hiking was at The Shawnee National Forest, apparently Graham and Alex used to hike here a lot before they moved back closer to where Graham grew up. You absolutely loved it, it was gorgeous.
Your thoughts were interrupted by three girls walking up to Griffin, they all hugged him and you assumed they were fans of some kind, but they were actually friends of Macy's who lived in the area and were here to join the hike. You introduced yourself and they seemed like really cool people, soon the hike was beginning.
As a group you'd decided not to take a terribly long hike for Alex, seeing as she was pregnant. Rather you took a more scenic route and ended up right at the cliffs edge.
You took pictures along the way and had a great time with your family, and new friends. It was truly a fun experience and you're glad you had agreed to go. You began to feel a bit cold, even though you were embarrassed to admit it, and everyone began to get hungry for lunch. It was perfect timing, you told Griffin you were cold so he tried his best to keep you warm as the group walked back down the mountain.
Once everyone had made it to the parking lot Griffin took you to his car where he handed you one of his jackets, you thanked him and walked back over to meet with the rest of the group. By now Macy has made plans to hang out with her friends, and everyone else wanted to go eat at a restaurant down the road.
You and Griffin were both pretty hungry so you jumped back in his car and followed Graham's car to the restaurant.
Once inside you all sat down and had a barbecue lunch, Alex talked about baby names, you marveled over the gorgeous views in the park, Griffin couldn't stop talking about the barbecue sauce, and Kacey and Graham had a secret food fight, under the radar of the restaurant workers.
It was a good time for all of you, it was the family bonding time you'd always wished for growing up.
Griffin excused himself and went to the bathroom, while he was gone your phone buzzed, you looked down and saw...

You laughed at the fact that Griffin had waited all day to post a picture he'd taken this morning, until he was in the restroom.
