"Damn it, I got my shoes muddy" you heard from down the road
"Well maybe you shouldn't wear white shoes to go watch the sunset then" said Graham
You were finally able to distinguish the voice as you heard Kasey say "Shut up, you're so mean to me"
Graham scoffed and said "you're the one that launched mashed potatoes at my face"
"Hey can you guys stop arguing and get up here" you heard Alex yell from the high point of the road
"Dude this view is wild" yelled Macy from her spot beside Alex
"I'll race ya" said Kasey as she pinched Graham and began sprinting towards the edge of the road.
Griffin looked down at you, and you were at a loss for words. "Hey what's wrong y/n, you're being extra quiet" he said nudging you
"I just can't believe this is our last night together with everyone" you sighed, wrapping your arms around your body to keep warm
"I know you're gonna miss everyone but we've got all kinds of new people to meet in LA, were gonna have a blast I promise" he said nudging you
You kept silent until you finally arrived at the end of the trail, you stumbled upon Kasey taking a picture of Graham holding Alex on his back, and Macy stood to the side.
"Wow this is an incredible view" you said looking over the edge of the rock wall
Your thoughts were interrupted by Alex as she said "Guys the sun is about to go down let me get a picture of you all together before y/n and Griffin leave tomorrow"
"Good idea, let me take off my jacket real quick" said Graham as he pulled his sweatshirt over his head
Macy pointed to the ground and said "Can we sit on this rock?"
Everyone sat down, the boys put their hats on, You and Macy threw on your sunglasses and everyone posed for the perfect family photo, well perfect despite the weird face Graham was making.
Once the sun had set and everyone was back in the car you decided to post the family photo.

You scrolled through your Instagram feed and tried you best to smile as the realization that, you were soon going to be ripped away from another family, was closing in on you.
You set your phone down and watched the streetlights pass as Graham drove you and your family home. You closed your eyes and drifted off to the sound of the car radio.
your dreams we're abruptly ended by Macy as she lightly shook you and whispered "hey y/n/n we're home"
You opened your eyes and sat up slowly "thanks for waking me up Mace"
You watched as Macy walked into the house and you were left alone outside, you stared at the front door for a moment and then got out of the car, you walked inside to find Alex and Graham cuddled on the couch for their nightly television.
"Goodnight you guys" you said as you walked past them
You walked up the stairs and said goodnight to Kasey and Macy as you passed the room they were sharing while they were both home.
Finally you arrived at the end of the hallway, to your room. You opened the door and saw Griffin laying on your bed.
"Hey Griff" you said shutting the door
He looked up from his phone and took a deep breath "are you doing okay?"
you walked over towards the bed and sat down "yeah I think I'm good" you paused for a moment "I'm just bummed"
"I get it, I'm gonna miss everyone too, but like I said earlier, we're gonna have an awesome time in la" Griffin said with a smile
"Yeah. I'm excited" you said starting to smile a bit as well
"Let me help you get packed then we need to get some sleep, we have a plane to catch tomorrow" he said standing from the bed
After an hour or so of packing you and Griffin had finally gotten all of your belongings sorted, it was time for bed.
"Good night y/n/n I love you" Griffin said as he gave you a big reassuring hug
"Goodnight Griff" you took a deep breath and disconnected the hug "I love you too"
Griffin left your room and you got ready for bed, whilst lying in bed your phone got a notification from Instagram
