Chapter 5 My Savior

"Tell us Annabelle." Raven said rubbing my back. "2 years." I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair. "2 YEARS?!?!?!!" Blake and Christopher yelled in unison. I flinched, so used to Ryan hitting me when he yelled. Raven pulled me into a hug. "That's not helping guys." They both apologized and calmed down. I stood up. "I should go." I told them. "What? No way!" Raven said standing up as well. "Raven I told you..." But once again she cut me off. "I don't care, I'm not letting you go back to him."

"You have to understand that he's not going to stop until he gets me, even if that means hurting all of you." I tried to reason with her. "Annabelle we will protect you. Let his punk ass try anything." Blake said. I sighed and caved in knowing they weren't going to give up. "Fine...fine." I bit down on my lower lip. "Yay come on I'll show you where you sleep." Raven grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the stairs. "Goodnight guys." I yelled back as I was pulled up the stairs. I could hear them laughing downstairs at the way Raven was dragging me.

"So you can have the spare bedroom." Raven said as she opened the door. "There's a master bathroom in here. There is already soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, etc. In there. I'll be back with some clothes, you can borrow some of mine until we can get you some." She smiled and walked out. I sighed and walked into the bathroom, I turned on the shower and stripped off my clothes. I stepped right into the shower not even bothering looking into the mirror like I always did. To be honest, I was sick and tired of looking into the mirror and seeing the bruises and tears every night.

I finally let my body relax as the hot water ran down my body and out the drain. I heard the bathroom door open and I peeked my head out of the shower curtain, seeing that it was just Raven. "Hey, here are some pjs for tonight and I put some clothes for in the morning on the dresser in the bedroom, goodnight Anna." I just nodded and went back to my shower as I heard her leave. I sighed and soaped up my body before rinsing off and washing my hair getting all of the dry blood off me. I got out of the shower a couple minutes later and wrapped a towel around my body. I quickly dried off and put on the shorts and tank top Raven had left for me. I walked out of the bathroom and over to the vanity, in the corner of the room. I sat down and took a deep breath before grabbing the brush, running it through my hair until all the knots were out. I threw my hair up into a messy bun before getting up and walking over to the bed. I crawled in and turned the night stand lamp off before finally letting myself fall asleep.

I woke up the next morning around seven. I sighed and got up putting on the jeans and shirt that Raven left for me the previous night. I pulled my hair out of its messy bun and ran my fingers through it and shrugged, deciding to leave it down and natural. I walked downstairs and saw Blake making himself coffee. "Want some?" He asked me. I nodded, "Please, 2 sugars and 2 cream." He made the coffee and handed it to me smiling. "You drink it the same way I do." I smiled back softly as I took the cup from him. "Well me and Christopher are going to take you girls shopping today." I shook my head. "I can't."

"Why not?" I sighed. "No money. He wouldn't allow me to work." Blake placed his hand on top of mine. "Don't worry about it I'll pay for you and I'm not taking no for an answer." Before I could respond both Christopher and Raven came downstairs. "Hey ready for a day of shopping?" Raven asked. I shrugged. "I guess so. I haven't been shopping since high school." I admitted. "Well then let's go change that." Blake responded before kissing my check. I blushed as he took my hand and led me out with the other two following behind. He opened the car door for me and I got in and just like that we were off to the mall.
