Chapter 9 Wake Up Annabelle

"She made it out of surgery but unfortunately she fell into a coma, I'm sorry." The doctor explained. I felt my heart sink into my stomach. "Can we see her?" He nodded. "Room 612 let me know if you need anything." I sighed and walked back over to Christopher and now awaken Raven. "Well? What did he say? Is she okay?" She asked anxiously. "She's out of surgery but she's in a coma." I explained. "Can we see her?" I nodded. "Yeah room 612." Raven ran off towards Annabelle's room.

Annabelle's POV:

All I could hear was beeping. I couldn't move or open my eyes. I heard the door open and Raven's voice. "Oh Annabelle you gotta wake up, please wake up. You're still so young you have so much more life to live, please don't let that bastard win." She said. I heard her sigh and walk out. I continued to try and open my eyes with no success. Then I heard the door open again and Christopher's voice. "Hey Anna, you look like complete shit." He laughed awkwardly. I knew he was only trying to make some light out of a bad situation like always. "Come on Anna you're strong you gotta wake up for Blake, for me." He kissed my head and left. I wanted to wake up so bad, what the hell was wrong with me?

"Annabelle please wake up." I heard Blake say. "We all need you, I need you." Oh Blake. "I love you Annabelle. I fell for you the first day I met you." He said. I felt something wet on my hand and realized he was crying. "I love everything about you from your obsession with pickles to the way you fidget when you're nervous or chew your bottom lip when you're deep in thought. I love your laugh, your smile, your eyes. Annabelle I love you." Then I felt lips on mine and I willed myself to kiss him back and I did.

"Annabelle?" He questioned shocked. I opened my eyes slowly and looked at him. I watched as he ran out calling for a doctor. He came back with a doctor following. "You're awake! How are you feeling?" The doctor asked. "I'm alright just having some pain." I responded. "Well I will have a nurse come in and check your vitals and then give you something for the pain." He smiled and walked out.

I looked over at Blake who was now sitting in a chair next to bed. "Blake do you really love me?" I asked him. I watched as his eyes widen in shock but before he could answer the nurse walked in. "Saved by the nurse." He mumbled but I heard and I giggled. I let them nurse check my vitals and she gave me some pills for the pain. Once she walked out I looked back at Blake. "You were not saved by the nurse." I giggled again.

Once again we were interrupted when both Christopher and Raven rushed in. "Then saved by both Chris and Raven." He smirked. "This isn't over Jacobs." I glared playfully at him. "I think it is Carter." I rolled my eyes. "Are we interrupting something?" Raven asked. I shouted yes the same time Blake shouted no. Christopher laughed. "She heard you didn't she?" I looked at him. "You know Chris?" I asked. "Well duh, it's pretty obvious." He said laughing. He took Raven's hand and walked out shutting the door behind them. "So Blake you still haven't answered my question. Do you love me?"
