The Gray Lion? [Keith X Reader]

Chapter 8 Part 1

Author's POV:

As Voltron finished the mission, there was more trouble coming on the planet of Balmera. 

~~~~~MEANWHILE~~~~~

You jolted up awake, breathing heavily but the pain from your head disappeared. You had beads of sweat forming on your forehead and some dripping down your face. You felt sticky and gross as you finally got up. You wiped the sweat off your face with your arms. You looked around the room and confused on where you were. Then it hit you and started to remember, you were still in the castle of the enemies that wanted to use you. 

I can't let them have me. I need to find Korus or Cree or any of my bodyguards. I need to get out of here. 

As you were thinking, you got up and walked to the doors. The door opened and you looked both left and right in the hallway. You saw that the cost was clear. 

Should I go left or right? Ahh... I don't know... Let's just take a right?

You left the room and started walking as quietly as you can making sure to not alarm any of the Paladins or Altean.

~~~~~FEW MINUTES LATER~~~~~

You didn't know where you were but all of a sudden the castle was shaking hard. 

Huh? What's going on? 

As the castle continues to shake vigorously, you tripped and hit one of walls. But then it opened and you fell in and the door closed on you. 

What the heck?! What am I in? 

As you got up from the floor, your hand touched the top to only end up touching a button. You finally got up and looked around. You realized you were in an escape pod and that you were about to launch yourself to the planet called Balmera. 

Uh Oh... I think I might have clicked the eject button... Oh no! I need to get into the castle and find Korus.

As you thought that you banged on the door to let you out. Then you looked at the controls to stop it but before you could the small cruise ship ejected and was flying towards the planet Balmera. You looked through the window.

I see some galra ships! This must mean that they're there. This is good, maybe can I get back home sooner and ask Father to get my bodyguards back from Voltron. Hey? What are those green lasers? 

As you got a closer look you realized that it was one of your mother's creations. You grabbed the steering handles and tried to void it so that you wouldn't get hit. As you were trying to avoid it you noticed that the Lions were all out there fighting or trying to avoid the lasers too. Then one of the laser hits you as you were focused on watching the fight and the pod started to fail. 

"Warning. Warning. Engine failing. Embrace for Impact."

As the pod said that you buckled and were getting ready for the impact. 

Oh sh*t...

Allura's POV:

"Princess! The girl escaped by using one of our pods!" As Coran said that I was stressed and furious. 

I knew she couldn't be trusted! I told the paladins. 

"Where is she headed?"

"It looks like she headed for Balmera."

"Paladins, the girl escaped with using one of our pods. We must find her and get her back."
