Keith's POV:

Just as Haggar said that, I looked at Y/n's eyes as they looked pure evil and she lost the sparkle that I saw in her y/e/c eyes that captivated me as the witch that Allura said was controlling her. We all stood still knowing we were going to die in her hands. I looked around to notice my team's face expressions as some were scared and others were thinking how to get out of this situation. I then faced back at Y/n and noticed that a ball-like shape has formed in her left hand as I knew that she was using her powers to kill us. 

"You saved me with your barrier from an explosion! We didn't make you use your powers to give me strength!" Lance yelled as he was now in front of me looking at Y/n with worry. 

"Lance!" everyone said as we were all scared that he was going to get blasted.

"W-What?" we all looked at Y/n as she was holding her head but her eyes still yellow. 

"STOP! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" The evil witch said through Y/n's mouth. Then it clicked in my head on what Lance was trying to do and it was working.

"You helped save the Planet Balmera." I took a step up and looked at Y/n. I then noticed that she was holding her head as her eyes were flickering from all yellow eyes to her normal, beautiful y/e/c eyes. 

"You saved the Green Paladin and I from your guards." Shiro said as it clicked in his head too. 

"STOP!" Y/n/the witch shrieked.

"We didn't kill your guards! They were alive with us!" Pidge yelled and as she said that Y/n bent down and gripped her hair tightly. With that I took my chance and slowly walked up to her as her eye color was still flickering back and forth from her original eye color to a bright yellow.

"You saved a little Balmeran boy named Silas. He's still alive." I said as I was close enough to Y/n and bent down to her as we made eye contact. As I looked at her one eye was yellow and the other was a light grayish/blue.

"H-Help...I can't control my mother for long..." Y/n whispered as she was clenching her jaw while holding her head. As she said that I felt Red calling me, so I nodded and picked her up bridal style. Then I looked at Shiro. 

"Shiro! We need to take her to the Lions!" I yelled at Shiro looking at him asking through my eyes if that was okay. 

"NO! She's just tricking us! If we take her to the Lions, the witch will gain control and steal the Lions!" Allura yelled as she ran towards us as she gain a bit of her strength back.

"We don't have time! She's holding the witch off! We need to take her to the Lions!" I yelled as I felt like I couldn't trust Allura anymore deep down but I ignored this feeling right now. I felt Red calling me even more as it felt like she was trying to pull me to her. So before Shiro can respond, I made a run for it and dashed towards the Lions' hangars. 

"Keith!" Everyone yelled but I didn't look back, I kept running. I heard footsteps of everyone trying to catch up to me but I ran faster. I look down as Y/n as she was struggling to fight back her mom.

"Just hold on a bit longer Y/n! I'll get you to Red!" I said to her while looking down and then looked up as I continued to run.
