Hero was somewhat awake as we arrived at the hospital. I led him to the emergency department, seeing that it was almost completely empty. A few nurses noticed us and ran to us. Hero didn't notice anything anymore, because as soon as the nurses noticed us, he went unconscious. Two of the three girls took Hero from me, bringing him to a treatment room. The third nurse went with me to the reception, signing us in and leading me to the room Hero was in. He was already lying on a bed, his eyes closed. I immediately went to him and sat down next to him, grabbing his fine hand. "Could you please remove that bracelet from his other hand?", one of the nurses asked. I nodded and removed it, putting it into the bag to the other one.
A doctor came in, looking first at me, then Hero, and then at the nurse who was standing closest to him. She handed him a patient information sheet and he read it. "Alright. What exactly happened?", he asked me, going over to Hero and me. I swallowed heavily and started to tell him everything as the nurses started to connect him to a few machines. Hero was still unconscious, causing his pulse to be a bit slower. I stayed next to him, and even as the doctors had a few troubles, I was allowed to stay with him. A few minutes later the doctor took a syringe and pushed it into Heros' arm, letting a red fluid run through his veins. His pulse and breathing got calmer and better within half an hour and I sighed in relief. "Is he fine again?", I asked. The doctor checked his status one last time before looking at me. "Somewhat. The poison is still in his body, yet that should leave in a few days, one or the other way. But since his pulse and breathing is fine again, we can put him on the normal infirmary.", he explained, smiling a bit at me. "It would be good if you'd get some stuff from his home since he'll stay here for a few days, or maybe even weeks." I agreed and stayed with him until the nurses pushed his bed into an empy room.

(A few hours later)
I arrived back at Hero's room in the hospital, placing the bag with his stuff on the other free bed before unpacking it.
Hero was still unmoving, but he was at least awake and watched me through halfway closed eyes. As soon as I was done I went to him, sat down next to him and grabbed his hand, softly rubbing over it. In the past couple of hours the doctors had placed a breathing tube under his nose so he could get more oxygen.
Hero gazed at me, carefully smiling. I smiled as well and stroke over his cheek. Hero barely moved to grab my hand, but as he did I noticed that he was very weak.
"How are you, Hero?", I asked. Hero gripped my hand a bit tighter before whispering: "Good, now that you're here." I smiled a bit more. "I'm glad you're fine, Hero.", I replied. Hero held my hand close, somewhat afraid that he could lose it. He looked over to the bag, then at me. "You were in my house?", he asked. I nodded and explained: "The doctor wanted me to get some stuff from your home since you'd stay here for some time. And no, we won't go home again. You need to heal again.", I added sternly. Hero hesitated, then he just lowered his head. "Alright." He took a few deep breaths which weren't completely steady. They were rather shaky, and he seemed to be in pain when he breaths.
I softly stroke through his brown hair, removing some dried blood from it. He looked into my purple eyes, smiling a little bit. "Did you let them check you as well?", he asked with a raspy voice. I shook my head. "No, but I drank a potion of health.", I replied. Hero gave me a somewhat pissed look, but then he just sighed and shifted a bit so he could sit up a little bit. "Are you sure you don't want to get yourself checked?", he asked again, but I softly shook my head. "Hero, the only thing I'm caring about now is you and only you.", I replied. Hero's eyes widened a little bit before he started to smile. "That was sweet of you.", he whispered, holding my hand close. I smiled as well and sat next to him on the bed, softly coming closer to him and kissing him on the cheek, feeling his soft skin and his warmth. Hero blushed heavily as I pulled back. He touched his cheek a bit before pulling me into a deep kiss, this time our lips touched each other. I gasped and kissed him back.
A few moments later he broke the kiss, blushing almost as heavy as I was. My face felt like a fucking tomato!
Hero grinned and stroke over my hair. "First kiss you weren't ready for, huh?", he asked before giggling. I nodded slowly, still unsure. Hero smiled before leaning back, still looking at me.
A nurse came in, telling me that the visiting hour was over. I nodded and turned to Hero to say goodbye as he suddenly gripped my hand softly before pulling me into a hug. "Promise me that you will return tomorrow.", he mumbled. I chuckled. "Are you scared that I won't return or what?", I asked sarcastically before adding: "Of course I'll return, Hero!" Hero released me, still worried. But then he nodded and I gave him a last soft kiss on the cheek before leaving.

(A few hours later)
I sat with a fluffy blanket and a cup of peppermint tea on my sofa, watching some Deku No Villain Academia (hehe who knows what anime that could be...~). But my thoughts were always with Hero. I couldn't get him out of my mind, even as the big fight in the arena started.
After a few minutes of blankly staring at the TV I sighed and turned it off, saving the show for later. Then I grabbed my cellphone and turned it on, opening a video call with Hero. He picked up and I noticed that he was tucked in his blanket, still awake but the light was quite dim. As soon as he noticed me he started to smile. "Hello.", he greeted, his voice sounding better than before. "Hi, Hero.", I replied before suddenly freezing. Why did I call him?! I have no clue what to talk about!
Luckily, Hero broke our awkward silence. "I'm bored. Maybe we should talk a bit about our next actions." I tilted my head. "You're not planning on breaking out, are you?", I asked sternly. But Hero shook his head. "No. But I have a feeling you also don't know what to talk about." I sighed. "True.", I mumbled before looking away for a moment. "Say, how long did Notch actually do this shit?", I asked and looked back at him, or, the cellphone. Hero let out a heavy sigh. "Since I first really saw him. A few years after I was born.", he mumbled. "But I don't know if he did it before as well." I nodded slightly. "So let's just say he was an asshole all the time, right?", I said, letting out a short giggle to loosen the tension. Hero laughed, too, yet it was very hesitant. "Sure. Let's say that.", he agreed before we fell into another uncomfortable silence. So much to 'let's plan the next actions'. I scratched the back of my head before I had an idea. "Tell me something about you, Hero." He tilted his head, looking a bit confused at me. "What exactly?", he asked. I shrugged a little bit. "I don't know. Maybe when your birthday is, what your childhood was like, what happened which doesn't involve Notch?"
Hero chuckled softly. "How about we exchange information. I tell you some stuff about me, and you'll tell me the same stuff about you." I nodded. "Sounds fair. Alright.
