Back in the skelebro's household...
Sans and Papyrus couldn't wait to see the girl again so that they can ask her more questions.
At work, Sans had been continuously hounded with questions about the stone and the dark cloud or mist hanging around the tip of Mt. Ebott, so much so that he's had to teleport his way out of many crouds just so he could hear himself think... not that he had a physical brain but whatever. So he was more than ready to ask away about the many things plaguing his non-existant mind.
Sans's POV
"Papyrus, are ya ready bro? We gotta go before the hospital visiting hours are over."
Honestly, this is the first time that I've had to wait on Papy in order to leave... which is quite strange considering that he's the one who's got enough energy for the both of us.
I blame it on the anticipation and excitement.
"I AM COMING BROTHER, I AM COMING... I MUST LOOK MY BEST IF WE ARE GOING TO VISIT A STRANGER. FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE IMPORTANT. "
Ah, so that's why he was taking so long. I don't blame him, he's always been a perfectionist ever since he was little... never really liked puns either. Eh, might as well catch a few winks before heading out to see the kid we found yesterday.
Just....
A few.........
Winks.....................

Sans?.............Sans?!........
"SANS! WAKE UP YOU LAZY BONES, YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE US LATE!!!!!!!!!"
And with that, I'm up again. Honestly, who needs an alarm clock when you have Papyrus to wake you up? Welp... gotta get going I guess.
Soon enough we were off to the town's hospital, where we dropped off that girl in the weird clothes. Hopefully she's doing better today so that we can find out more about what happened.
When we arrived at the hospital front desk, we asked the clerk if we could see the girl we brought in.
"Oh, I'm sorry... we discharged her already. She's been gone for the past 24 hours... what, was she a friend of yours?"
I felt my soul stop in that moment. The key to all our questions has disappeared due to a mistake on the hospital staff's side... that girl could literally be Anywhere at this point. She could have found out about transport and traveled to another town or heck... even another country! Where on earth could this girl be?!
"UM, EXCUSE ME LADY CLERK... YOU WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED TO SEE WHAT DIRECTION SHE WENT IN WHEN SHE LEFT?"
Bless Papyrus for being the smart one in this moment of panic. I didn't even notice the security cameras that were all around the exits and inside the corridors of the hospital.
"Sure thing, I'll give the cameras a little check and you can be on your way."
I am so grateful that we have friendly humans working here at the hospital, I don't think I would have survived an encounter with a human that would give me attitude right now.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a pretty chilled guy... but it doesn't mean I don't stress about things, it gets really bad though and causes me to kinda blow up at people when I can't control my surroundings.
I'm not a control freak either, but I just like to be comfortable in a familiar environment. That includes people I'm familiar with and on good terms.
