Kye's POV
Sitting here in the park is a relaxing thing...
Especially after what happened earlier today.
~~~Earlier~~~
"You've already heard me say that I died and now you are probably wondering what I mean and how I'm standing here in front of you, talking to you."
No comments, just unified nodding.
Sighing, I brace myself for the truth to hit us.
"Well, the thing is... a normal human body can't sustain itself for 500+ years without aging and without the necessary things in order to survive as a full being. So, what I think happened is that my body died when I was trapped in the mountain with the demons and my spirit remained in order to keep the demons in check. I think that the reason you can't summon my soul, is because you are already seeing it... and, correct me if I am wrong, souls didn't need a soul to sustain themselves."
Again.
Silence.
Silence that was soon cut by the humming of questions in the minds of the other beings in the room with me.
Concentrating, I closed my eyes and I could hear their thoughts as if they were speaking out loud.
How is this possible?
I knew humans were strong, but damn! This breaks any theory I ever had about this girl.
IS THE HUMAN OKAY? IS HER BODY ALSO OKAY?
My child, you have been through so much... and here you are, without a body and stuck as a physical conscious.
*You think that this is awesome and want to be something similar after you die.*
This reminds me of the time I was a soulless flower, being concious in another body feels... natural, but wrong at the same time.
And so on.
I started to feel that I wasn't needed here at the moment, so I decided to leave them to their thoughts.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if I wasn't welcome there anymore... I'm a freak of nature, an abnormality.
But, I can't let these feelings be the core thoughts in my mind.... or, well, what's left of it at least.
So, after I left the house, I decided to head to the park for some fresh air to clear the dark clouds that started to build in my head.
And that's how I came to be here.
~~~Present time~~~
The wind whispers many things, echoes people's thoughts and feelings as well as deception.
Being sensitive to darkness and evil, I am basically a walking dange-'o-meter. So the moment I felt a dark presence nearby, I am immediately on high alert and searching for the threat.
