"dear...Evan Hansen." Evan looked over at you as he fiddled with his hands. Jared pushed his glasses up as he typed on his computer. "We've been way too out of touch. Things have been...crazy, And it sucks that we don't talk that much "

Jared nodded as he looked up. He smirked as he started to read aloud. "But I should tell you that I think of you each night, I rub my nipples and start moaning with delight-" Evan whipped around to him and snatched the computer away. Jared laughed as you snickered from your spot on the bed.

"Why would you write that?" Evan blushed as he held the computer.

"I'm just trying to tell the truth." Jared winked over at you making Evan huff. He set the computer next to you before sitting down. He looked at his cast as he muttered.

"This needs to be perfect these emails have to prove that we were actually friends...Just I'll do it." He cleared his throat, Jared rolled his eyes and leaned back in his chair. "I've gotta tell you, life without you has been hard-"

"Hard?" Jared smirked wider, even cleared his throat again.

"Has been bad?"

"Bad?"

"Has been rough." Evan looked over at Jared.

"KINKY!" Jared laughed while throwing his head back. Evan sighed and looked over at you as you giggled along with Jared. You leaned closer to Evan and rested your head on his shoulder

"And I miss talking about life and....other stuff"

"Very specific-"

"SHUT UP" Evan sighed as he closed his eyes. He leaned his head against yours as he slowly opened his eyes again. "I like my parents." Jared rolled his eyes at you as he walked over to sit on the other side of Evan.

"Who says that?"

"I love my parents but each day's another fight..." Evan looked down at you. "If I stop smoking drugs, Then everything might be alright." He nodded proudly of himself. Jared deadpanned up at him.

"Smoking drugs?"

"Just fix it!" Evan shoved the computer into his lap. You smiled and gently grabbed his none broken hand, he looked at you with a sad smile.

"If I stop smoking crack-" Jared hunched over as he typed

"Crack?!" Evan intervened. Jared sighed annoyed.

"If I stop smoking pot, Then everything might be alright." Evan slid the computer back into his lap while Jared cleaned his glasses off. He bit his lip before starting to type again.

"I'll take your advice, I'll try to be more....nice..I'll turn it around

Wait and see." He stood up and handed the computer back. He talked aloud as Jared typed. " 'Cause all that it takes is a little reinvention...It's easy to change if you give it your attention. All you gotta do is just believe you can be who you want to be." He grabbed your hands and tugged you up. "Sincerely, Me" He smiled shyly at you as you looked up at him. Jared coughed to get your attention.

"Are we done yet?" Evan rubbed the back of his neck gently.

"Well, I can't just give them one email I want to show that I was, like, a good friend, you know?"

"Oh my god." Jared threw himself back making you chuckle. Evan rolled his eyes down at you with a soft blush.

"Dear Connor Murphy, Yes, I also miss our talks. Stop doing drugs Just try to take deep breaths and go on walks"

"No."

"I'm sending pictures of the most amazing trees." Jared raised an eyebrow as he looked up at him.

"No.," he said sternly.

"You'll be obsessed with all my forest expertise." Evan proudly smiled as he ran a hand through his hair. Jared sighed deeply.

"Absolutely not!"

"Dude, I'm proud of you, Just keep pushing through...You're turning around, I can see." Evan grabbed your hands as he spoke. You gently cupped his face as he exhaled deeply, he looked tired. "Just wait and see!"

"'Cause all that it takes is a little reinvention, It's easy to change if you give it your attention. All you gotta do is just believe you can be who you want to be. Sincerely, Me" Jared finished off the letter, before quickly typing again.

"My sister's hot-"

"What the hell!" Evan let go of you to turn to Jared.

"My bad." Jared laughed lightly. He started to type again. "Dear Evan Hansen, Thanks for every note you send"

"Dear Connor Murphy, I'm just glad to be your friend." Evan walked over to his desk. He sat in his chair as you leaned against the small desk next to his small potted plant. "Our friendship goes beyond. Your average kind of bond." Jared and you looked at him with a skeptical look.

"Butnotbecausewe'regay." Evan rushed out.

"No, not because we're gay."Jared mockingly responded in Connors's voice.

"We're close, but not that way."

"The only man that I love is my dad." Jared snickered as Evan tensed slightly. He swiveled around in his chair slightly.

"Well anyway...You're getting better every day."

"I'm getting better every day."

"We're getting better every day," Evan whispered as he looked at his hands. You gently touched his shoulder, but he shook your hand away.

"'Cause all that it takes is a little reinvention...It's easy to change if you give it your attention, all you gotta do is just believe you can be who you want to be. Sincerely -"

"Miss you dearly." Jared quickly added. Evan just sighed in response.

"Sincerely Me."

"Sincerely Me." Jared Stopped typing.

"Sincerely....Me...." Evan swallowed and looked out the window, for a second he swore he saw something...

"Thank you again, Jared...We owe you." You walked over and hugged him as he handed you back the computer. He nodded and fixed his glasses as he looked over at Evan. He shook his head slightly.

"Yeah, sure. I'll see you later." You waved him goodbye before sitting on the bed across from Evan.

"Have you ever felt like nobody was there?" He hung his head as he looked at his shaking hands. "Have you ever felt forgotten in the middle of nowhere?" You looked at the back of him, hunched over, voice barely above a whisper.

"Have you ever felt like you could disappear? Like you could fall, and no one would hear?" He shut his eyes as tears ran down his cheeks. You walked over to him and rest your hands on his shoulder from behind.

"Well, let that lonely feeling wash away...Maybe there's a reason to believe you'll be okay." He looked up at you with a surprised look. "Cause when you don't feel strong enough to stand. You can reach, reach out your hand." You grabbed his hand and held it to your chest.

"And oh, someone will coming running, And I know, they'll take you home." He leaned his head against your stomatch as you gently ran your fingers through his hair. He felt his panic slowly start to lower.

"Even when the dark comes crashing through...When you need a friend to carry you.." He whispered softly against you.

"And when you're broken on the ground." You lifted his head so he looked up into your eyes. Evan smiled softly as you rubbed your thumb over his cheek. "You will be found."

"So let the sun come streaming in, Cause you'll reach up and you'll rise again. Lift your head and look around." You tugged him by his hands. He wrapped his arms around your waist as you leaned close to him. "You will be found..."
