Klay was sitting at home watching a Raptors vs Spurs (I had to I'm sorry) during his day break. While watching, he got a call from his teammate and best friend, Kevin Durant.

"Hey man, whats good" Klay asked answering the phone.

"Yo Klay, I've got some news for you" Kevin said to him.

"Yeah?" Klay asked wondering what it could be.

"We just signed a new guy to them team, the names Stephen Curry or some shit" Kevin told him.

"Oh damn, is he any good?" Klay shocked asked.

"Klay bro, let's just say he like to shoot 3s" Kevin said, knowing Klay would be upset to hear that.

Klay is known as THE 3 point shooter on the Warriors and maybe even the whole league. It was obvious Klay was very surprised to hear this.

"Well then, we'll have to see how he does. Talk to you later brotha, thanks for the update" Klay said.

"Anytime man, talk later Klay" Kevin said ending the call.

Klay sat there wondering what it would be like to have 2 three point shooters. Oh who was he kidding, there's no way some new guy could just show up and take his spot.

A couple days later

After a couple days, the team was finally aloud to meet this Stephen Curry guy. They were in the practice facility waiting on Coach Kerr to show up with Curry.

"Damn Coach is taking forever man" Draymond said making some boys laughs.

"And we get yelled at for being even a second late" Klay said chuckling with Draymond and KD.

"Finally, the practice facility" Steve Kerr said to Steph walking onto the court "gentleman, meet your new teammate, Stephen Curry" Steve smiled.

Most of the guys instantly shook hands with Steph and talked to him. The only one who hadn't was Klay. He saw Kevin and Draymond smiling with Steph as they welcomed him which got Klay sorta upset. Was he already getting replaced?

"So I'm sure you already know him, but that's Klay over there shooting the 3's" Kevin said to Steph as he looked over at Klay. "He's in a bad mood right now so don't take it to heart" Kevin put a hand on Steph shoulder pointing out the reason why Klay hasn't said anything to him yet.

Stephen did kind of feel intimidated by Klay. He knew that Klay was way better than him so he didn't want to make himself out to be a fool.

"Alright" Stephen said not taking his eyes off Klay as he made a perfect 3.

During that practice, Klay didn't say a single word to Curry. Just by seeing Steph play this practice, Klay could tell he was a good player and maybe even All-Star material but he wasn't gonna admit that to anyone anytime soon.

"So Klay, what'd you think of Stephen?" Draymond asked as him and Kevin smirked knowing Klay was gonna lie.

"He's alright, there's a lot of room for improvement in his shooting" Klay said picking up his bag to leave.

Kevin and Draymond just laughed at Klay response. In their eyes, Stephen was amazing and definitely All-Star material. But of course, Klay was right about how he has room for improvements in shooting.
