09 - I Knew You Had a Fetish For Devilish People!

"You told him what?" Jess asks incredulously as we walk into our crappy school side-by-side.

"I told him about what happened on Valentine's Day." I say again, she hasn't grasped the concept that I trusted him enough with this information.

He would have found out eventually, because it isn't exactly top secret information, but I don't want anyone and everyone knowing.

"How much did you tell him?" she asks, still in shock.

"Most of it, but I didn't tell him who he cheated on me with."

"Good," she says. I don't think Jess trusts him yet after him completely blocking me out of his life for five years. "I don't trust him yet."

"I trust him, but not enough." I admit then look over to her. "I will tell him more when I trust him enough."

"Don't trust him too much, you don't want him stabbing you in the back like Sydney and Amber did," she warns me with a serious tone to her voice and I nod.

"I regret ever trusting them." I mumble in frustration, opening my locker.

"I never trusted them, and when we met and you told me what happened it just made me even more annoyed with them," she shakes her head and groans.

"So you hated them and what they did to me gave you a reason to hate them?" I chuckle, that sounds like Jess to me.

"Yeah, basically," Jess agrees. "I have always hated them."

"So you had no reason to hate them before we met?" I smile.

"No, but they had this look on their faces'," she says then pauses for dramatic effect, this is the best friend I know and love. "it was evil, and still is. How is that we are the only one's that notice that they are the daughters of Lucifer himself?"

"Lucifer?" I question and laugh, I don't know what to do with this girl sometimes. "I get that they are evil, but I don't think they are spawns of Satan."

"Yes, their faces' are evil and satanic," she informs me and I slam my locker shut smiling widely.

"You are insane." I laugh and we walk in the direction of my first period class, we still have five minutes until class starts.

Usually, Jess hangs out with me in my first class until she has to leave to get to her class.

"I know I'm insane, but you love it," she winks jokingly.

"Oh, totally," I answer sarcastically, pretending to be in love. "I completely love the devilish side to my best friend."

"I knew you had a fetish for devilish people!" she exclaims teasingly and we get strange looks from the people around us.

I open my mouth to reply, but I am stopped by the warning bell, which signals that Jess sadly has to leave me now. "Bye!" I smile and poke her cheek and she laughs then walks away.

When she leaves I walk over to my seat and take out my textbook and planner, averting my gaze to the chalk board, then write down my homework as students begin to pile into the classroom.

Elliot and Amber are in this class with me, that's the only reason I dread first period. Otherwise, I love History. They sit in the back row and I sit in the front like I do in every class, I can feel their glares at the back of my head everyday.
