11 - You Being a Good Singer Would Happen Way Before That!

The next morning I wake up completely exhausted, but I still drag myself out of bed to go to school. I missed yesterday's classes and my afternoon classes on Tuesday. Today, I have a test in history first period, but I am hoping if I explain my situation Ms. Fray will let me take the test another day, but I don't have my hopes too high.

I quickly change out of the clothes Evan gave me yesterday and put on jeans, then put on my favorite Imagine Dragons shirt. After that I apply minimal mascara then I run downstairs to eat breakfast, I don't want to wait another two days to eat. I love my food and I never want to be away from it that long ever again. I skip my pill once again, because there is no point in taking it, I have skipped it the past week and I feel fine.

There isn't much of a variety of things to eat since I haven't seen my dad do any shopping for a long time, so at most all I can have can be a bagel with some butter or cream cheese. I look through the mostly empty cabinets for something to eat and eventually I found a half eaten loaf of bread, so I toast two slices and put some peanut butter on it.

After I eat I make my lunch quickly which consists of an apple, sandwich, and my favorite sugar cookies. When I am finally done I grab my sweater, phone, and backpack then leave the house. Hopefully today is better, or I hope I'm not locked in a janitors closet for nearly two days.

Those two days were one of the worst days of my life, I hope I never experience something like that again.

I walk out my front door and start to walk in the direction of the school, after barely a minute of walking I hear an engine slowing down behind me. Great, I'm going to get kidnapped now? "Hop in!" the person yells and I turn around to see Evan offering me a ride yet again, but I'm not going to deny - it's freezing out.

"Thanks!" I exclaim and whoop while I jump into the front seat. "It's freezing out there!"

"I'm just too lazy to walk every day so I drive," he chuckles.

"Do you think that I could get out of that History test today?" I ask, hopeful that I won't completely embarrass myself in front of the entire class and teacher.

"I'm sure she will, but only if you explain your situation without having to rat those bitches out," he points out, but if I want to get out of it I would have to explain to her how I got into the closet, so technically I would have to rat those bitches out in the progress.

It's not like I don't want them to get in trouble for what they did, but I just don't want them thinking things about me because I got the principal involved. I would rather not report them, because when they come back they would find a way to make my life so much worse.

"I would have to tell her the whole thing for her to believe me." I sigh in frustration. "I will just take the failing grade then after I will beg for a retake or test corrections."

"This is Ms. Fray we are talking about, I don't think that she does any of that, but if you come up with a good enough excuse for why you didn't study or why you were distracted she might consider something to raise your grade."

"True, but I will just try my best on the test. Hopefully I won't have to get on my knees and beg." I chuckle at the thought.

"Maybe you could get to class early and squeeze in some studying before the test," he suggests.

"I don't think Jess would let me two feet away from her unless she has to for a while." I laugh at the image of Jess staying by my side twenty-four seven.
