Chaos hunt - part 3

"So, what are you again? A rabbit or a bunny?", Rainbow asked literally out of nowhere, "I'm a rabbit", Cream answered, Rainbow looked at her,

"You look a little like both", "I guess so, because bunnies and rabbits are kind of similar", Cream said. "And what is he?" Rainbow pointed at Cheese, "he's a chao!", "a what?" Rainbow didn't get it,

"a chao, we only find them back in Mobius, they are really sweet creatures", Cream looked towards Cheese and smiled, " Chao chao!" Cheese replied.

They walked, until they reached a broken bridge, "I got it kid!" Rainbow flew to the other side and tried pulling,

"Uhh, miss Dash, I can-", before Cream could say anything, the broken wood connected to a huge rock as Rainbow wing got stuck with the rope.

"Come on!" Rainbow tries to pull, but mistakenly knocked off the rock with her leg, as it dragged her along, Rainbow started falling.

"MS DASH!", Cream looked in horror.

"Aaah!" Rainbow Dash screamed.

Cream and Cheese looked at each other and nodded.

Suddenly a strike of blue cut the rope that connected Rainbow's wing and the rock. The rock splashed into the river, she looked as Cheese flew towards her, as she felt a a hand hold her as she went up, instead of falling.

Rainbow looked up, "Cream?".

Cream looked at Rainbow, "oh, are you ok miss Dash?" Cream flapped her big ears as Cheese slowly unbuckled the knot the rope made on Rainbow's wing that prevented her from flying, and let it fall to the river.

They reached the other side, "You can fly?" Rainbow had her mouth hung open, "of course", as they reached the other side, Cream left Rainbows hooves as Rainbow landed on the ground.

"Kinda wanna admit it, I'm impressed, and thanks!" Rainbow said as Cream giggled, "it's nothing, miss Dash, at least no one's hurt, but we musn't stop here now, let's go search some more!" Cream said, and Rainbow smiled as they went forward into the forest.

Sonic and Twilight walked, looking around making sure no danger came their way.

"So the chaos emeralds are scattered here?", Sonic looked around, "yep" Twilight said, "but this forest is really big and it is unsure of what might happen here, so we need to be careful",

Sonic smirked.

"Oh come on, I can do anything!" Sonic ran through the path, as Twilight flew behind him. Sonic stopped in front of big thorny plants, swaying in circles as one slammed trying to hit Sonic, but he dodged it, "Sonic! What are you trying to do?", Twilight yelled, "look over there!".

Sonic pointed at a shining object, which was none other than, "is that a chaos emerald?!" Twilight said, Sonic nodded, "yes, we need to get it!".

Twilight flew to grab it, but the wild plants kept slashing themselves in the air, Twilight used her magic blasts to destroy them, but they kept dodging.

Suddenly one wild plant caught Sonic's leg and pulled him up, Twilight saw this and aimed for the plant she used her magic blast and the plant let go of Sonic, throwing him in the air, Twilight flew towards him and caught him, "Twilight, take me to the emerald!" Twilight did as Sonic said.

"Don't let the plants get you!" Twilight said as she went closer to the chaos emerald captured in between the angry plants. When they reach Sonic reached out his arms to grab the emerald, Twilight used her blasts to keep the plants from attacking them, Sonic spindashed below towards the chaos emerald and then rolled out of the place, Twilight too followed behind and they both were panting heavily, "did you get it?" Twilight said.

Sonic opened his hands to find a glowing red chaos emerald, they high fived each other.

Suddenly they heard laughing and talking, near them, they hid in the nearest bush and looked at the ones who stood a few feet away, the scene they saw shocked them both.
