Brittney POV...
She could hear the cracking of her bones ringing through the air, her skin broke and soon her human-like nail curved and became claws her olive skin became pale, and a thin layer of fur started to cover her body as her clothes began to rip into bits, her teeth pushed through her gums and blood was dripping from her mouth showing her fangs.
She could feel the bones in her back break. She released a loud pitched scream in pain and agony because she genuinely did not know what was happening. This was her first time changing into the person she had no idea she was and who she was destined to become.
She didn't want this to be how her first transformation takes place she wanted to be ready for it, but not like this, her left leg broke, and she released a cry, "ple... p...p... please stop I do not want this!" She released a scream she couldn't stop because this was not her doing; this was not what she wants; she could feel the rage flow through her. Her right leg broke, but this time, she didn't release a cry, but instead, a low growl escaped from her lips.
Brittney looked at the reflection of herself in a car and realized that her hair was no longer blond but was now pitch black, her muscles were defined, she went from 5'5 to 6 ft she held up her hands and realized that that the size of her hands was more massive and deadlier. She had read about creatures like these but wasn't expecting them to be real, she looked back at her reflection and tilted her head and looked at her ears and took in how sharp and defined, and the bridge of her nose appeared just a little wider, her skin seemed thicker less likely to puncture.
There was a loud ringing in her ear that was causing her to clench her fist, but soon it was gone, and she could hear everything clearer. She could hear the bee before it flew by her, her version was nothing like how it was before everything was clear, she watched as the bee flying by slowed down she reached out and grabbed it when she opened her hand she looked at the bee as if it was a foreign object and watched it as it flew threw her fingers.
She could feel the vibration under her feet, she could smell their scent stronger than before, and just like that, Athena's last words were registered, and Brittney charged in their direction claws and her fangs bared. Her speed was faster, more calculated, a growl released from her mouth both her claws sank into Marcus' shoulder before flinging him into Micheal, knocking the air out of them.
She grabbed onto a light post and ripped it out of the sidewalk, "I've been longing for this," she says as she goes after Marcus. With each step she made towards him her speed increased, she clenches the light post tighter almost breaking it Micheal was running in front of her trying to block Marcus from her view but almost like he weighed nothing she grabbed his leg and flung him across the street and into a greyhound bus parked across the street.
"You voted for them to eradicate my entire bloodline," she took the light pole and hit him, sending Marcus flying into the side of a building.
Marcus climbed out of the rumble, and by the look on his face he was angry, annoyed, and he was not in the mood for the delay to get in his way, "fine, you want to hold on to a grudge that's older than you, I was a different person, but now I know myself."
"What changed you? Not even your mate wants you," she released a low growl.
"Marcus?" Micheal called out to him. Marcus shook his head.
"I got this don't interfere," Micheal was hesitant, but he nodded his head and stod by, ready just in case he couldn't fight anymore. What she said got under his skin, just like she intended, Marcus gritted his teeth, trying to restrain himself from fighting back, but he could feel his hidden powers trying to take over, "please I do not want to fight you, but I am willing to reason with you."
"You're generations too late, love," she ran towards him, and before her fist could connect with Marcus without him having to raise his hands she stopped, and she stood in place as if she was a statue she wasn't able to move a muscle forcing her to stand there and listen, "I am sorry, though I have been alive for eons, have seen wars, I have seen people enslaving each other for centuries hoping for a different result, but the ending is always the same," he entered her mind, and slowly he was changing her to her human form, "I do not wish to fight with you, but I do want to help you, and I'll start by removing whatever she placed in your head.
He was sucked into a memory of her grandmother telling her what happened why their bloodline was cursed. Her grandmother explained to her, then the menory stopped playing, and a younger version of Brittney got up from the bed and looked up at Marcus, "why does your kind hate my family and what have we done to you and your kind?"
He stoops down to her level, "because we are ignorant of things that we do not understand, and try to force our ways upon those that are different, but I promise that once you are all grown up, you'll make a difference, we will make a difference together."
She hugged him, "I will hold you to that promise."
When he opened his eyes she was fully transformed to her normal form, "where, where's," Brittney release a sigh, she wrapped her arms around her, "we need to find her, she's going to kill him, and when she's finished, she's planning to eradicate everything."
"What do you mean by everyone?" Marcus asked as he took off his dress coat and placed it over her to hide her from people passing by,
"The entire human race."
