Athena POV...

I was walking through the woods, it was the same one that was in Darmathia, I stretched my hand out, to see what I was covered in, it was a red hood, I looked around, and I could hear the echoing of a wolf coming to my direction, I looked behind me and saw a pair of green eyes. And pair of teeth bared at me. I stepped back, not sure if I was supposed to be scared, but this time I walked towards the wolf.

"Hello," I said, looking down at the wolf, it nodded its head and disappeared and what leaped out was me. Except for this time, I looked like I was in my 40's, 50's, this version of me her body was fit, chiseled, her skin was flawless.

"Don't you just find me sexy for being more than 5 billion years old?"

"What?" I looked at her baffled.

"Sorry I should introduce myself. My name is Gaia."

"You represent bravery and courage, and you are why I can control earth."

She nodded her head with a smile, "follow me," when we stepped from the shadows of the trees, her hair was in a large fro,  with butterflies resting peacefully, there was a crown made out of flowers around her hair, her gown was a royal purple with each step she made flowers sprung to life.

"I represent more than just bravery; you could compare me to Eve except I will teach you history, language,  I will give you knowledge of things you never know you knew," she waved her hand.

"I have been around before dinosaurs roamed the earth," I watched as dinosaurs were walking around and eating, she waved her hand again, "I was around when cavemen took over after dinosaurs died out,"   I watched as cavemen came outside of their caves.

"Your soul is old, but this body does not reflect that."

"Is that why I'm wearing a red hood because I am young and naive?"

"You ask a lot of interesting questions, but not exactly, you trust easily, you trust people who are wolves in sheep clothing, you cannot believe that everyone who is in your life is honest."

"I am everywhere I can teach you things that are beyond what you are capable of, you are more than just a sword, and an arrow, and few spells, I can teach you everything if you are willing to listen."

"Mmm," I slipped the hood off and looked at it, I was holding something simple that was holding me back, I tilted my head to the side, I threw it and watched it disappear, "then what are you waiting for?"

She nodded her head; she picked up a small pebble, "what's this?"

"A pebble?" She scrunched up her face at me and rolled her eyes.

"Touch it," I took it from her, and soon flashes of people's faces flew past my eyes, explorers coming from different parts of the world. Colonizers fighting for land, people were singing, dancing, even a native tongue I have never heard of before.

"Knowledge, this is knowledge," I stared at the pebble in amazement.

"Exactly," I gave her back the pebble, "everything around you will answer all your burning questions, questions you have yet to think off, you are connected to all of this now use it to your advantage," she looked around us. She stretched out her arms as if she could feel the energy from the surrounding.

"This area is where I train, is it real or is it just a figment of my imagination?"

"Touch the tree and figure out."

I touched the tree, and soon images flashed before me, I saw a younger wounded version of Luther taking shelter, another vision flew by and it was him and a familiar face talking, "That's Nyx," I whispered to myself.

"She will be scared but determined, but your job is to ensure that she is prepared for her journey in life, she will learn faster than anyone, but you will also need to give her structure else she will be a loose cannon."

"You know I do not teach females to fight, how dare you appear to me."

She smirked at him, "But this one you can't help but teach if anything she might teach you a few things too, besides she can beat all your men single-handedly even you, give her a chance I promise you won't regret it."

I moved my hand down the tree and visions passed by in fast motion, I stopped moving my hand when Nyx appeared to Luther again, "You were right she is damn good, she is better than anyone I have trained, and she has taught me patience, forgiveness, and things I have yet to realize she is, she's gifted," realization dawned on him, "you lied to me," he gritted his teeth.

Nyx looked away hesitating at first but then eventually looked at him, "she's coming back, she will be in danger I need for you to do whatever it is to make sure she doesn't die."

"You had no reason withholding such important information from me!"

"Would you have taught her if you knew, no you wouldn't have that is the reason I refuse to tell you, you'd have turned her away the day I made her find you, you were meant to be her teacher, you have shaped her in such a way that I would dream off doing."

"My students will die," he released a sigh, "She will die."

"No she will not see to it that Dinlas return the debt that he owes you."

I pulled my hand away, "They all knew."

"Yes, they did," she looks down at me, "sometimes people have to be sacrificed."

"They're my brothers, you've seen how I was when someone I knew for a short moment dies, it will ruin me to see people who are willing to sacrifice themselves like he did, but fortunately he was immortal, but everyone else who sacrifices themselves won't have that luxury."

"Then learn to separate yourself from people and understand just like you; they are just a shell too."

"I can't," I looked away.

"Our journey is about to end," I didn't even realize we were standing in front of a large body of water.

"My words of wisdom that I will leave with you is sometimes letting someone go is the ultimate act of love," she placed an emerald in my hand, "whenever you are lost, or you do not understand, earth will guide you to the truth," she squeezed my hand closed, "remember when you are in your darkest moments come to me for knowledge do not go elsewhere, because they will deceive you," she vanished leaving me staring at the ocean.
