"Okay. point-one-five degrees, fifty-two miles, our max air speed is about one-sixty." Kate said to John as we flew over the desert and towards the mountains.

"We've got thirty-two minutes. It's just us three now." John told her.

"John, what if we can't stop it?"

"There's enough C-4 here to take out ten supercomputers. We're gonna make it, Kate. The future is up to us." He looked out to the mountains before pointing. "That's gotta be it."

Kate banked and we started to follow a road. We landed in front of the road that lead into what looked like to be some type of a bunker entrance. We got out of the plane and ran throw a human sized door and stopped, taking everything in. It looked like a hanger that was filled with vehicles. Kate was about to take a step forward before she was stopped by John.

"Wait. Skynet. There may be more of them." John warned her. He took a few steps forward, raised a gun ad fired while sweeping it across the room. Nothing stirred.

"Come on." He told us and we began to walk forward, towards the back that had a large still door. He reached out and touched the metal. "I think this is some kind of blast door. There's no way we can blow through this thing."

"John, Kayden, look." Kate called us over and we went to her and that's when the lights came up.

"Now what?" she asked. We watched as the message 'stand by' went to 'blue four-seven-eight.'.

"That's a...it's code prompt." John states as he put his pack down and went through it, getting out the access codes and looked through it. "Type in 'Dakota seven-seven-five'."

Kate did and the messaged changed to 'power on' and then to 'Red one-seven-six'. John started to look through again until a sound caught our attention. We looked towards the entrance and a helicopter suddenly burst through and skidded a few feet towards us. The door was knocked off and the T-X came out, staring us down before starting to head towards us.

"You two get it open." I told them before taking out my gun from my pants and walked a few feet forward and than began to unload the clip into her. It, of course, didn't do much to her but I kept at it until I ran out.

I heard another noise and looked back at the entrance and a even bigger chopper swooped and crashed. T-X tried to outrun it but she littarly got ran over by it. I made sure to take a few steps back towards John and Kate, covering my face slightly. John grabbed me and Kate, throwing us out of the way and John made sure to cover Kate's body with his own.

"Come on." John got up and Kate and I followed him and the main room was rather trashed. We looked over at the chopper and the door flew off and out came the terminator though he was more worse off than before. The skin on the entire half of his face was burnt off, showing half of his actual skull.

He turned towards us, staring for a moment. "I'm back."

John chuckles slightly before a blaring alarm sounded. We looked over and saw the blast door was closing. The terminator ran over, jumped and slid under and managed to hold it up. "Go! Now!"

We quickly scrambled over and Kate was the first to go through with the pack. I went under next but I couldn't help but pause and look at him.

"Go," he told me. "Live, so we could meet another time."

I nodded and quickly went through and next was John's turn and he also paused.

"Thank you." John looked at the terminator.

"We'll meet again." The terminator assured him. John tried to move as quickly as he could. Kate grabbed his arm but he suddenly let out a scream of pain. I dropped down and looked and I saw the T-X, all in it's liquid and solid glory, having a hold on John's ankle. I watched as our protector use his food to make the T-X let go and than Kate helped him up and began to help him run away. I quickly followed and began to help Kate help John.

We ran down around a bend, down the stairs and down the hallway, going as fast as we could until there was an explosion. John quickly pulled Kate close just in case any debris flew into the hallway which, luckily, it was only dust. We looked back before making our way to the room and John opened a heavy door and than we went onto the elevator and we started to descend.

"I'll set the detonator for five minutes." John told us. "That should give us enough time to get back up."

Once we were at the bottom floor, We walked out and down the stairs though this didn't look like anything valuable would be here. We got into a large room before we slowed and stared.

"What is this place?" John asked, taking in the site. We walked down the steps and John started to go odd, looking for the core of Skynet while Kate and I stayed behind.

I saw very old cameras in front of a podium that you would see on TV when the president speaks on TV.

"There's computers are thirty years old." John stated as he walked back into the room before coming over to us. "This isn't Skynet. There's nothing here."

We looked at John and I slowly came to the realization.

"A fallout shelter for VIPs." I stated.

"Only they never got the warning." John sighed. "Goddamn it!"

"There's nothing here!" He pushed an old computer of its table, sending it to the ground. He turned towards Kate after a moment. "Why didn't he tell us? Why did he lead us down here?"

Kate was silent for a moment, looking at John. "To live. That was his mission."

John looked down at the explosive in his hands before looking at Kate and I. "There was never any stopping it."

"John...we could just...let it go."

"Hello?" A sudden voice sounded. "Hello? Can somebody hear me?"

We all made our way the radio it was coming from as the voice continued. "This is Montana Civil Defense. Somebody please come in. Is there anybody there?"

I could hear other voices coming through now as we stopped in front of it, asking for anyone to answer, for anything. John looked at Kate and I before he turned the timer off before leaning off and clicking the button on the mic. "This is John Connor at Crystal Peak."

"Connor? What the hell is happening? Who's in charge, there?"

"I am."

"Connor, can you help us?"

I watched as Kate stood beside beside John, her hand touching her shoulder before it slowly slid down and gripped his hand.
