We got to the air force base though the terminator made sure we were parked far enough away so we wouldn't be seen. We started to get everything ready, all the weapons and the explosives. I had a bad feeling about this, I really did but I'd never say anything about it. We must do this mission.
"No doubt the T-X will be there." stated John. "So, we need to move quick and pray we aren't too late."
I nodded, watching as he finished loading up his automatic gun and after grabbing a clip or two, walked away with Kate. I grabbed a familiar handgun, checked the clip and than put it in the back of my pants before taking some extra clips.
"The files were about when the T-1000 came to kill you and John." the termimator's voice suddenly came, causing me to jolt in surprise. I looked up at the other blinking as he simply grabbed the one gun and another weapon.
"What?" I questioned, tilting my head.
"Katherine's files that she uploaded into my CPU, they contained details of that time. She also put me on write mode so I could learn."
"Okay...what does this exactly mean?"
"It means that I remember everything."
I stared up at him. "You..."
He looked down at him. "Think of it as moving another's memories into an empty shell."
"What...are you saying?"
He didn't say much, he simply took a step closer to me and, before I knew it, wrapped an arm around my shoulders and pushed me against him. "I remember this, you and him, us."
I hasiently reached up and gripped his leather jacket. This was very unexpected and I didn't know how to properly react. So, I just continued to grip his jacket while I can. I knew that I couldn't do anything more than this. I knew that by the time this was all over, he's just going to die one way or another. He might not be Bob but he did have Bob's memories so it was close enough.
He let go of me and took a step back just as John appeared again. "Hurry up and let's move it."

We ran through the halls, trying to make it to the control room. Of course, the terminator got there first and began to fire and John, Kate and I knew that the T-X got there before us. Once he stopped, Kate ran into the room behind the terminator.
"Daddy! Get away from it!"
I looked and saw a silver form getting up, red, blond and skin flowing in before the T-X took out a gun and pointed at Kate's father.
"Watch out!" she screamed but it was too late, the T-X shot the general four times before the terminator shot at her with a large gun and continued to shoot until she went through a panel in the wall and disappearing.
Kate ran to her father, falling onto her knees beside him. "Dad...daddy, don't move."
"She'll be back." the terminator stated but I ignored it. I knelt down beside Kate and John walked towards us.
"We have to shut down Skynet." John stated as he set his gun down. "Where's the system core? Somewhere in this building?"
"Skynet. The virus has infected Skynet." the general breathed.
"Skynet is the virus! It's why everything's falling apart!"
"Skynet has become self-aware." the terminator walked over to us. "In one hour, it will initiate a massive nuclear attack on its enemy."
"What enemy?" the general winced.
"Us!" John stated. "Humans."
My head snapped up as I heard gunfire and I could vaguely see a machine through the glass.
