We began to make to walk away from the truck, John and Bob both helping mom along as I walked behind them. I glanced behind me and saw the T-1000 had fully regenerated and I quickly ushered them to pick up speed. Mom stumbled forward and them to her knees. The two managed to get her to her feet and we were going as fast as we could.

"This way, come on." Bob began to lead them through the maze of machinery and cables. Steam filled the area as the carried on, bob tugging them corners, the molten metal casting a eerie yellow-red glow. We stopped when when we were greeted by the pool.

"It's too hot." Mom told us. "We need to go back."

We turned around and started back the way we came but Bob stopped and let mom go.

"Go, run." Bob told us. My heart dropped when I realized that the T-1000 was closing in where we came from.

"No!" John shouted. "We gotta stick together!"

"John, you've got to go now." Bob told him firmly.

"John!" Mom wrapped her arms around the boy, tugging him.

"Go! Now!"

"No!" John gave one last shout before mom forced him to help her walk. I gave Bob a quick, worried look while he only gave me a reassuring one. I quickly went to John and mom before throwing mom's free arm around my shoulder.

"He'll be fine, John." I assured my brother.

"I hope you're right." he sighed and we continued to walk until they got to the stairs. Mom ushered John to go first and than me with her going last. We started on our way again once we got up onto the platform. We were about to go down another set of stairs before they stopped in their treks when they saw the T-1000 below, heading towards the stairs.

"Grab the chain." Mom told John as we went to the middle platform. When John did, mom lowered him down to a carvayer belt like contraption.

"Mom, come on! Kayden!" John shouted up at us. He just simply looked down at him until he vanishes before mom and I look at each other.

"Don't even try." I told her when she was opening her mouth. "John will be safe while we distract the tin can."

She looked like she wanted to argue but the T-1000 had just reached the top of the steps. Mom grabbed the shotgun, loaded it and stood, gun poised. She pumped it and than shot, tearing a whole into his left side of his face, eye included. It closed ups and began to take steps forward.

As mom was reloading, I took out my handgun, walking off to the side, away from mom and than began to unload a clip into him, turning his attention towards me.

"Yeah, that's it." I growled, still shooting before I ran out. "Come on you piece of scrap."

I let the clip fall before grabbing another and than started to put a full one back in but he was suddenly right there, in front of me. Before I could do anything, I was grabbed and than flung, my back hitting the metal railing hard. The back of my head nicked it, making pain bloom there and I was dazed. I could here another blast of the shotgun and than mom yelling in pain. I shook my head, trying to get rid of the pain and the daze before I look over and saw the T-1000 pinning mom to a wall or pillar wit one, silver object while another began to come out of his free hand, towards her face.

"Mom.." I called lowly before attempting to get to my feet. I saw the terminator glancing over at me before looking back at mom.

"Call to John, now." he ordered.

"Fuck you." mom sneered and right before he was about to stab her in the head, Bob came up behind him and slammed a pole down on the T-1000, making his left arm dangle from his body which made him let mom go.
