"Roman?" Remus sighed as he literally looked everywhere for his brother with no luck. He knew if Roman didn't want to be found he wasn't going to be. So instead he decided to make him some food. Unfortunately... there was no food. "Damn it Roman! Do you even use this anymore?!" Remus groaned as he jumped up onto the counter grabbing a large picking basket the servents used to use before jumping down with a frown. "Guess I'll just pick some shit myself then."

Remus took one last look back in the castle before frowning and walking off to the fields. His parents never approved of them ever going to the fields. It was far off the castle grounds located more in the actual village than anything. It was still separate from everything hidden with a bunch of trees so no one even knows that it's there other than the twins and Logan, who Ray tells everything to. The two of them will try to harvest as much as they can every chance they get so that things can all keep growing. Logan even set up this massive hydraulic system. Apparently it's supposed to keep everything watered nicely. He checks on it all the time to make sure it's all thriving.

Logan Grain is the son of the village's best farmer. Well... Technically speaking it's not his father that is the best but the family itself. They never approved of Logan's aspirations of being an inventor but Remus was ALWAYS supportive of him. He was his boyfriend after all. If Logan could believe, understand, and support Remus AND Roman, then obviously Remus would do the same.

Remus didn't have a job. Well, that's not entirely true. Remus did do something but he wasn't really paid for it. He was an artist. All those years of painting lessons from his mother paid off. Anything he might make though goes to Roman or the fields... or Logan. He himself doesn't really keep much which is fine since he's terrible with money. The last time he had a good amount he blew it all on chocolate. Of course, it was the twin's birthday at the time and Roman was in the dumps so Remus wanted to give him something he hadn't had in FOREVER but still. 150$ is a lot to spend on just... chocolate.

Remus found himself standing in the fields and he sighed. Everything was looking fine but... he missed Roman. He wished he could show his brother everything he and Logan had done but Roman refuses to show face outside of the castle. Not unless forced or caught off guard.

"Might as well get to work then." Remus giggled as he started picking any and all veggies he could. He started with the carrots and slowly made his way closer and closer to the grove. He didn't have much space left by the time he got there but he knew he wanted to get Roman some fresh fruit. The poor prince doesn't get much all the way in the castle.

"Shit!" Remus froze up the moment that unfamiliar voice hit his ears. His eyes narrowed as he slowly let his basket touch the ground. If he was going to beat someone senseless, he wasn't going to lose his cabbage to do it. Remus tensed with anxious anticipation as he grabbed his knife he had been using to cut the vines and held it tightly in his grasp until... "SHIT!" Remus came to a complete stop seeing a man before him. He threw his hands up dropping some apples as his eyes darted about looking for an escape. "W-Who..."

"That's what I was about to ask you." The man tensed as Remus sighed and put his knife away. He didn't seem like a threat. Just a thief. "Who are you and what are you doing in my fields?"

"Your fields?" Remus nodded noticing with narrowed eyes as the man's hand dropped to his side. "How are these your fields? They're just random land. This property belongs to no one."

"Falsehood." Remus giggled silently at the thought of Logan's proud smile. "These fields belong to my family and as one of the only remaining of said line, these fields belong to m..." Remus tensed with fear as the man pulled out a gun. His eyes went wide as the man smirked.

"Sorry but... I'm not letting you go and tell anyone about me. Can't have my reputation being tarnished any more than it already is." Remus's eyes darted from the gun to the man as his eyes narrowed.

"I really wouldn't do that if I were you." The man laughed making Remus shake his head. "No really. You shouldn't threaten me."

"Oh? And what per se are you going to..." There was a deep menacing growl that caught both their attention. As Remus looked over, he managed only a split second of sight before whatever it was charged the man with the gun so fast you couldn't see it. The man screamed as the gun was flung out of his hand. Remus stood there frozen in shock as a wolf literally dragged the man off as he screamed out for help. Remus simply laughed in awkward tension.

"I told you not to threaten me."

"Such a vile man..." Roman literally threw the man into a cell as his eyes glowed with rage. Blood covered his mouth slightly causing him to spit out the disgusting red. The man ran to the door only for Roman to growl making the man cower in fear. Roman quickly locked the cell door as he spun around to glare at his brother who was holding the picking basket. "What the hell were you thinking?"

"I was just trying to..."

"I DON'T NEED ANY HELP, REMUS!" Remus flinched as Roman voice literally started to sound more animalistic than human. "I've survived on my own, just fine... What do you think I would have done if I found out you were dead? Do you realize what could have happened? YOU'RE ALL I HAVE LEFT RAY!"

"I'm sorry." Roman hesitated as Remus looked away. "You seem to forget... You're all I have too, Brother. Sure, I have Logan. I love Logan but... it isn't the same, Ro. I lost my mother, father, AND my brother that day." Roman frowned as Remus shook his head trying to ground himself as his tears started to fall. "I wasn't thinking. I'm sorry."

"No... I'm sorry. I shouldn't have snapped like that." Roman sighed softly as he smiled sadly. "I'm not good with my anger, you know this. I'm sorry if I scared you."

"Excuse me." Roman snapped instantly slamming himself against the cage as the man yipped in fear seeing the fangs Roman had. "You're a beast." Roman froze up, blood beginning to boil as the man freaked out in front of him. "You're a beast. A monster... A monster this close to..." The man's eyes went wide as he scrambled closer to Roman who growled in warning but made no other movements. "I have a son. Take him instead."

"What?" The air literally vibrated with the deep rumble of Roman's voice. It did little to deter the man's plea's.

"I have a son. Take him and let me go. He's younger, stronger, yet timid and easily controlled." Roman wanted to snap the mans neck. He pointed a gun at his brother and now is talking so poorly about his own blood. He really was such a vile man. "He lives in the village. Get him, bring him here, he'll gladly take my place."

"And what makes you think that?" The man simply smirked as he stared Roman right in the eyes with clear challenging intent.

"Because he's my son." The man laughed quietly as he sat himself on the cold concrete to wait. "Trust me... Just get my son."
