Warnings~ Smut (there you go people lolz)... I am apologizing for this mess beforehand hahahahaha
"Here you go, Ro." Virgil set a plate and bowl in front of the other who smiled gratefully. Roman went to take a bite of his beans only for his fork to slip right out of his hand the second Virgil ran his hand over his shoulder. He froze stiff, legs squeezing subtly as Virgil just smiled, not making any indication he even saw it while walking to his own seat. "Hold on to your fork, Dear. Lest you make a mess of yourself."
"Ah..." Roman choked lightly as his head twitched slightly, trying to dispel the images that flurried into his mind over that one sentence. Virgil smiled sadly as he chose to ignore it for now focusing on his own plate instead of the way Roman had to force himself back into eating. It was obvious he wasn't over it yet, even though he tried so hard to hide it. Virgil could tell Roman was desperate to act unfazed but all he'd have to say is...
"Good boy." ...and Roman would visibly break. Roman shuddered as his face flushed 7 shades of red. Roman glared up at his love only to see Virgil sipping nonchalantly from his soup as if he hadn't said anything. Maybe he hadn't? Maybe his heat was messing with his mind? Roman sighed as he shook his head and took to ignore it all and just eat.
The meal went pretty silent for the most part. Virgil casually watched the older eat knowing he wasn't going to be able to eat it all. Not while in the state he was in any way. Even though he didn't give him much, to begin with, he was still expecting leftovers. When he finally finished his own food he simply waited. Roman was taking such small bites to make it appear as if he was eating more than he actually was. Smart... if Virgil hadn't been paying such close attention to detail. The second Roman's hand paused not quite wanting to get more Virgil knew he was done.
"Are you finished?"
"What? Oh... Uh... Y-Yea." Roman smiled sheepishly as he set his fork down. "I'm sorry about the leftovers, Love. I did manage to finish the soup though. So that's good right. I told you I was getting better." Virgil nodded, playing along as he got up watching as Roman did the same. "I can help."
"Thank you, Ro."
"Of course, Virgil." Roman was quick to follow right along taking his unfinished food to the counter where he wrapped it and put it in the fridge. He paused for a second basking in the chill of the fridge letting it cool him down just a smidge, not even noticing the sink had turned off until...
"What are you looking for?" Roman jumped the second Virgil's voice was right beside him. "Jeez, Ro. You scared of me or something?"
"Never. I was just startled." Roman frowned seeing how Virgil's eyes trailed his body making him tense as that need grew in him. Virgil growled lightly and it took everything in Roman to keep his knees from buckling. "V-Virg... I uh... I should um... I'm gonna..." He gestured towards the hall only for Virgil to throw his hand up boxing him in and trapping him against the fridge. The look in Virgil's eyes damn near made him break right then and there.
"You aren't being honest with me, Roman."
"W-W-What..." His voice cracked and Roman winced realizing his facade was broken.
"You're still in heat... aren't you? Be a good boy and tell me the truth. "
"Fuck." Roman crashed and just collapsed into alpha panting as he gripped his shirt tightly. "I-I'm sorry. I'm... I just didn't want you t-t-to w-worry."
"I'm only going to ask this once, ok Ro?" Roman nodded as Virgil kept his hands to his side despite how Roman nuzzled into him. He wasn't going to do anything without Roman's consent. "Would you like me to help you?"
