I didn't hear from Crystal. I'd tried talking to her, but she just shut me out. I wasn't the only one bummed out about this, Ronnie was about to loose hope on getting the girl of his dreams.

The only reason she came to mind at this very moment was that she was serving Gary and I coffee and breakfast. Usually the great taste of the pancakes kept my mind occupied, but today I was keeping mental tabs on the waitress.

"Babe you've done everything you could." Gary said to me. Fighting back tears, I just sighed.

"She's a nice girl you know. I don't want her going through what I did. He messed up my fucking life."

"If I could fix everything for you right now I would. Remember when I gave you that promise ring at the hell house? No matter what happens I'm gonna be right here."

I couldn't help but smile when I glanced down at the ring on my finger. The smile remained when I looked back up at Gary and kissed him a few times.

"I love you Gary..." I muttered in between kisses.

"I love you too Kennedy. I love you so much." He kissed me again, the bliss filled me up even more as soon as I heard those words.

As soon as we left the resutuant, I hoped into Gary's arms with a happy squeal.

"Well your mood sure changed."

"Guess you just make me so darn happy."
