I stared at the DM. I didn't know what to do. Should I answer with something witty? Or should I leave it?
"What is it?" Calum asked.
"This girl on Twitter," I mumbled.
"What about her?" Ash piped in.
"She's fricken hilarious," I said still scrolling through.
"Ah, our friend has learned his ways," Luke said.
"What?"
"You didn't swear for the first time in like a month," Luke said.
I rolled my eyes. And began looking at the dm again.
"What is it about her?" Calum asked.
"She sent me this dm after I followed her," I showed them the dm. This earned a few snickers and smirks from my band mates.
"You gonna answer?" Ashton inquired.
I shrugged. Should I? She's beautiful. Her profile is hilarious. She's different and interesting.
I decided I was gonna answer her. He began typing on his phone.
"Well I'm not exactly royalty, princess. ;)"
I smiled as I sent the dm to her. Two can play at this game. We ate our pizza and talked and messed around.
We went back to my house afterward. In the car I checked my phone to see that Cassandra had actually answered me.
"Sorry to offend you your highness, didn't know royalty was so so humble"
This girl, she always made comebacks. I laughed at my phone.
"That girl again huh?" Ashton asked.
"This girl knows her shit," I mumbled.
"Jar!" Ashton yelled from the back seat.
I groaned as I pulled out my wallet from my back pocket and handed him a dollar.
"I'll be putting this in the jar when we get back," he smirked.
"I'll put something else in that jar,"
"What was that?"
"Nothing!"
The other boys were laughing at me and Ash. He had started this whole swear jar. Me being the one it was for. I have to admit, I have a slight swearing problem.
Well...maybe not slight. He started it because he was sick of hearing it so he put a big jar in my kitchen and every time I swore I had to put a dollar in it.
"Well anyway, you gonna answer her?" Calum asked.
I nodded as I looked down at my phone again and began typing.
"Well, being humble is a great quality for royalty..."
I clicked the lock button on my phone and put it back in my pocket. Now it was just a waiting game.
