Once of all us finished preparing ourselves for the danger that is about to come, Almy checked the monitor of the cctv footage outside.
"They're outside already, napapalibutan na nila tayo."
we went to the underground garage and entered our respective cars.
The plan is to fool them and in order for us to do that we have to use Livia's illusion but then, she can't do that for a long time since just like everyone else, our powers have limitations.
The other car will go out using the front exit where the enemies will see them while Noah and I will escape through the back exit.
He told me that we'll go to another safe house far from this place and I'm hoping that we will arrive to our own destinations safely, not just us but also the people in the other car.
The engine roared as we prepare ourselves to go out. Ravi who is in charge of driving the car is leaning his arm on top of the window while Noah have the same pose but on the other side.
"Ready?!" Noah shouted
"Ready!" everyone replied and closed every open window of the car
The two exits opened at agad na minaniobra ni Noah ang sasakyan namin papunta sa kabilang exit and that's when our cars went to their separate ways.
Tumingin ako sa likod at pinagmasdan ang sitwasyon ng mga iniwan naming kasama.
Sunod-sunod na mga van ang sinundan nang mabilis ang kabilang sasakyan samantalang walang nakakita sa pag-alis namin ni Noah.
Mukhang gumana ang plano nila, I just hope na ligtas silang makatakas mula sa kanila.
Tumingin akong muli sa harap ng dinadaan namin at nalunod na naman sa malalim na pag-iisip.
Hindi ko inakalang aabot ako sa ganitong sitwasyon ngayong sinusubukan kong harapin ang nakaraan ko. Naging mabilis ang mga pangyayari, hindi ko na rin alam kung saan pa hahantong ang patuloy na paghahanap. Pero ngayong unti-unti na akong nalilinawan, iisa lang ang sigurado na ako sa isang bagay ngayon. Hindi ako hihinto hanggat wala pa ako sa dulo. Ngayon pa ba ako hihinto kung kailan may mga pinapahalagahan na ako? Kung kailan unti-unti na akong naliliwanagan?
"We're here." We arrived at our destination na kasalungat ng sitwasyon na pinagdadaanan namin kanina.
"Let's go." He was the one who opened the door on my side and helped me from getting off the car.
Hinila niya ako papasok sa isang bahay na mas maliit kumpara sa pinanggalingan namin kanina, katulad lamang ito ng kanina na nasa gitna ng isang kagubatan.
Nang makapasok kami sa loob ay pinaupo niya ako sa isang sofa, "Do you need anything? I'll get a drink." Before he could even leave, I pulled him by his arm and looked straight into his eyes.
"I don't need anything, j-just sit here and explain everything." He must have noticed that I am bit frightened about our situation

They know how powerful your ability is, that's why they've been chasing you for years." Parang naliwanagan ako sa sinabi aiya, kaya ba hindi nila tinigilana ng paghahabol sa'kin? Mga hangal sila, nagawa nilang sumira at pumatay ng mga tao para lang magtagumpay sa ninanais nila.
"Back to our team, our team was assigned to find you in Myalo University but then our only clue about you is your real name. When Ada told us about your first name, we thought that maybe the one we're finding is you but then we stilĺ need confirmation. We didn't tell you directly because based on the data we know, you have no idea about who and why did that happen to your parents. All this time I thought that running away is the answer but now that I'm slowly being enlightened, I want to take this moment and face what will happen with no fear.
Napasandal nalang ako sa dibdib niya at wala nang nasabi pa sa eksplanasyon niya, "I'm really sorry na ngayon lang namin nagawang ipaalam sa'yo, it's just that I thought you still need time to build up the courage inside your heart before facing the reality of life."
"It's fine, I understand what you did and I have no problem with it." I'm actually glad that they even considered my situation first before making a move
"I wonder how they are currently doing." I said when I remembered the others
"They'll get through it, I know them. Our team is on top of the organization so there's no doubt that they will fail the plan." napanatag naman ang loob ko dahil sa sinabi niya
"Abhaya, I want to tell you something before you take a rest." He said in a serious tone,
"I want to court once everything is settled, I like you no--, actually I feel something more than that and I want to make sure that after all this mess, you'll be mine." he said
"Before I accept your offer, you have to answer my question."
He seemed interested about what I said "What is it?" he anticipated
I already have an answer in mind and all I need is confirmation, "Why can't I read your mind?" I talked to him through telepathy while also staring into his eyes
"You can, I'm just blocking it." he didn't utter a single word and for the first time, I finally got to read it from his mind
"Don't block it again, okay?
He nodded and I smiled sweetly at him. I guess the two of us is a perfect pair.

As the night deepens may kaba pa rin akong nararamdaman sa puso pero nawala lahat ng iyon nang magkasama kaming kumain sa dining room.
Napakatahimik ng paligid na siya ring nagpakalma sa nararamdaman ko. Tahimik ko siyang pinagmamasdan na naghuhugas ng pinagkainan namin. I actually insisted kaso lang ay ayaw niyang pumayag kaya nandito ako sa isang tabi hinahangaan ang kakisigan niya. He's just wearing a simple white shirt but I feel like he already took my breath away.
I can't wait until all of this finished
Isang gabi na normal lang sa paningin ko, I thought everything is starting to be fine, I thought everything's gonna be alright not until I heard the pouring rain outside as a small alarm inside the house rang loudly warning us about the coming threat. Nabitawan niya ang hawak na pinggan na gumawa ng malakas na tunog mula sa pagkakabasag. Nagkatinginan kami dalawa at nagusap gamit ang mga mata.
"They found us."
