I found Love, in Another Time? (Outsiders FF)

Brothers? Really?

Soon enough, everybody I met was here, in the Curtis houe. Wow, there's a lot of people. My aunt and I were the only girls there. I was on the couch, sitting next to her. While she talked to her boyfriend, I was too bust starring at Ponyboy. The way he combed his golden brown hair back. His sweet eyes. Those lip s of his, looking soft and cute as he smiles. He just gets my heart rasing. Is it possible to like him after just saying a few words to him? Well, it happened to me, so it must be. 

"Mary, hello?" I came back to earth and turned to my aunt, who was snapping he fingers in front of my face. 

"Oh, sorry aunt" I said. She lifted an eyebrow at me, then turned to look in the direction I was. Then, she turned back to me, and smirked. 

"You were starring at Ponyboy, weren't you?" I was taken back. Even though I was starring at him, I didn't want her to know that. 

"N-no, why would you say that?" 

"Don't lie, yes you were" she replied. 

"No I wasn't" I lied. 

"Yes you were" she stated. I looked at the floor. "Hey, there's nothing wrong with that, he's a nice boy, ya'll make a perfect couple." I felt myself start blushing. 

"Really?" She nodded. I smiled at the thought. Ponyboy holding me in his arms. Now that was a dream come true. 

"Now, if your trying to get him, try not to make it like me trying to get Dally" she said. 

"What do you mean?" 

"Well, I went home once because Dally pissed me off, and I amolst did again because he made me cry, but then he saved me, and... just a lot of things that happened" she replied. 

"Okay... so, what should I do?" 

"Try to get to know him better. You know, spend some time with him, go to the movies or something" she suggested. I thought about it. If we go to the movies together, alone, then will it be considered as a date? Hmm, I wonder. 

"Do you think it'll work?" She nodded. 

"It should, atleast" she replied. 

"Atleast?" She just shrugged. I sighed. Great, so there's a chance that he might not end up liking me. Well, I still got to try. I mean, there's no reason I shouldn't, right?

"My new kid sister!" I turn in the direction I heard that, only to see Soda coming up to me and almost hugging me to death. 

"Sister?" He nodded proudly, with the biggest smile on his face. 

"Mine, Darry's, and Ponyboy's" he replied, matter-of-factly. I froze. So, there is one reson. What if he thinks of me only in that way? I got a glance of Ponyboy, only to find his also looking in my direction. But he quickly turned away, turning a light shade of red. I smiled. Maybe my attempt won't fail as badly as I thought. I hope.
