AN: Woah, it's been like? Half a year when I started lol. Thanks for the support for reading this book (from the last). As usual it's a DazaixReader(female)xChuuya. I won't spill too much for the overall book however, please note that it isn't like the last book but continues from it. Also it'll switch from 1st to 3rd at times. But anyways, thanks for reading!

3rd Person POV

The lights were dim. Shadows casted along the antique furniture. The rustic red and dull gold complimented each other on the gloomy day. It was a sunny day like yesterday. But today was a cloudy one. It was so dark that it seemed that any moment now, it'll start raining. Definitely, it sounds like misfortune would start. Would it not? It seemed to conclude to that.

But today was a special today for many. After Chuuya, Dazai, Kouyou, Mori, and even Elise, they had finally convinced [S Surname] to become a executive right on her 18th birthday day.

There was excited in Dazai's and Chuuya's eye. It has been 2 years since they meet her. From the day she arrived to join Port Mafia to the missions that she had both dragged and been dragged by the 2. Finally their days of pestering her would finally be done.

However, how late can she be? Usually she'll be up in early to avoid the 2 from accompanying her on missions by the boss. Other times, she'll sleep in late and accompany Chuuya and Dazai on a mission. Today must be an off day for her.

"I'll go check on [S Surname]/[S Name], boss." Dazai and Chuuya said at the exact same time. Soon the 2 started to butt heads over the topic. Mori sighed and Kouyou chuckled. The 2 of them will some day will turn the whole organization around just for her. What a day that'll be.

"Chuuya, go check on her." Mori says, wincing a little from the excitement in Chuuya's eyes that was similar to a ray of sunlight that had blinded him. He was kind of worried what Dazai would do. "Dazai, stay here and wait."

A cloud of gloom hover over him. This didn't stop Chuuya and his victory. The ginger grinned and teased the brunette before he left. The brunette, now our raged, sat quietly, planning something to ruin the older man and the ginger.

Mori sweatdropped at the rage that was only seething out of Dazai at this point. He couldn't let the next leader of Port Mafia to be too infatuated by a girl to potential throw away everything. He couldn't allow it. The organization would crumble. He wouldn't let it happen.

The sound of Chuuya's footsteps echoed in the hallway. Somehow, today it feel eerier than usual. There was something about the hallway that was off. But everything was the same. Yet not?

Bang!

He froze. "Gun shots..?"

Bang! Bang!

"...coming from..."

Bang! Bang!

"...a room..?"

Bang! Bang!

His feet picked up speed. He understand what this uneasiness was about. Gunshots from all the way down the hallway. He didn't know that he could be so worried about someone so strong like her.

Bang! Bang!

He crashed into their shared room where he heard the bullets scream loudly. He couldn't think at this point. He was a wick about to burn out, the flicking flame that was about to burn out, he was on the brink of insanity from what he was witnessing. A masked person with a black clock on was holding a lifeless [S Name] in their hand. Her eyes closed and body battered with holes, stained with her blood. "[S Name]...?"

Chuuya rushed in. He didn't know they would do, but he had to do something. After all there  could be hope for her. He knew. He knew. He knew. He knew. He—

The sound of a gun cocked.

Chuuya ran faster. At this point, he was right in front of him. He could hear a low chuckle from the masked person. A man? But this was when he realized, he had already fired. And it wasn't at her.

Soon Chuuya was slammed onto the ground. A roar of pain left his mouth. Why did it hurt so much? He didn't know. Why couldn't reactivate his powers? He didn't know. He coughed out more blood as he felt the man stepped on him. The man started to grind his heel against the bullet wound. More roars of pain vibrated the room. He couldn't help but close his eyes.

Soon, the man had enough fun and dropped something on the ground. Chuuya had a feeling of what it was. [S Name]. How dared he treat her that way.

He heard the gun cock again.

Chuuya, who was a few inches away, crawled over her body. He didn't know why the masked man didn't shoot yet. But he didn't care.

"Shoot me," he grumbled, back facing him, "just don't...she going—"

"She already dead." The man said. "She won't be coming back alive even."

Chuuya could feel the cold metal press against his head. He narrowed his eyes. If he was going to die, he was going out fighting. He closed his eye, laying his head on her.

Bang!
