Chapter 3: Just Rose

Readers, readers just because I said he was like my Prince Charming don't think the story's over. That would just be super duper boring story. Plus like I said in the beginning I’m not a princess and there hard to have a prince with no princess.

After sitting on the bench for a good thirty minutes my phone rang. "Roslyn Jennifer Fox. Where are you?" James worried voiced bombed through my speaker. I stifled some tears and said "Outside the cafe with Matt." "Well did you and the boys forget..." I sniffed into the phone again trying to hide that I was crying, so I could answer James when he was done. "Wait, are you crying?" He asked interrupting himself. At that Matt took the phone. "Hello sir, yes she is crying." "Because Kelsey and the girls said a comment about her mother." "Yes, they were evolved." "I don't know where they are now. I followed Rose outside." "Of course sir I'll bring her home." I heard Matt answering all James of questions. Then he hung up the phone. "Rosy, I told James I'll bring you home." He said pulling me off the bench.

"But I don't want to see them." I whinnied thinking about the girls. I mean no of course they didn't say it, but it was their friend. "Knowing James he will take care of the girls. And he is mad at Tyler and Ross for not calling him or comforting you." He said while pulling me into his truck. "Wait, Matt we took my car here. Why is your truck here too?"I questioned. "Because I met Mark here this morning and then we drove to your house." He said while putting the car into drive and speeding down the road.

In a Matter of minutes we pulled into my driveway. Both Matt and I got out of the car. "You don't have to come in if you don't want to." I said while walking to the door. "I know, but I want to." He said with a small smile.

"Girls! You are grounded!" James screamed at the girls sitting on the couch. "But dad we didn't say it." Juliet argued. "I don't care if you didn't say it. It was your friend and you didn't stop them or stand up for your sister." James huffed out. "She's not our sister." Julia mumbled under her breath, but James heard it. "If you don't want to count her as a sister fine! Do what you want, but she is my daughter!! And you will treat her like such." James bellowed. "Know, girls got to your room." The two girls got off the couch and sheepishly walked up stairs. "Boys..." James started again, but on the boys this time. I had to save them, those two didn't do anything wrong. Swiftly I walked into the livening room dragging Matt in by our interlaced hands.

"James, they didn't do anything." I said with Matt on my side still holding my hand. James didn't even notice Matt and just pulled me into a bear hug. "Rosy, are you ok?" "Yes, I'm fine. Matt already comforted me." I said letting go of Matt’s hand and hugging James back. James pulled back, "Good. Thank you boy for keeping an eye on her." He said to Matt. "It was actually a lot of fun, sir." Matt said and then winked at me. I could feel my cheeks turn as red as a tomato and I start to giggle. In unison Tyler and Ross stood up and walked over to Matt. "Don't do something stupid, dude." Tyler said in a low growl. "Yeah...we...more...over...her." Matt whispered only causing me to hear select words. “At least he was there for her." James said with narrow eyes at the boys. Rolling my eyes I said, "I'm soaking wet. I'm taking an hour hot shower. And yes, Tyler I'm using all the hot water." Then strutted out of the room. Goodness, those boys were acting weird. Threatening Matt, it's not like he thinks of me of anything other than Rose. Actually it's not like any guy thinks of me then anything other than Rose
