Jungkook opened his eyes slowly. The light that fell from the window was blinding him and hurting his eyes. What the heck was it so bright for? He stretched out his hand, searching for a certain someone. But that someone wasn't there. He came across a little fluffball instead and grinned when he felt Yeontan lick his fingers. Jungkook turned towards him and smiled, playing with the dogs tiny ears.
"Hey, Tannie! Where is Tae? Did you eat him?"
He jumped as he heard a chuckle from the door.
"Why would he eat me? And more important: HOW would he eat me? I'm ten times his size!"
Jungkook turned around and saw Taehyung standing in the doorframe, an apron wrapped around his body and some flour on his nose. He looked adorable.
"Hey Tae... I'm not sure, maybe he has a huge stomach."
Jungkook grinned and sat up. He threw the blanket off of him and stood up, stretching to wake up his muscles as well. When he looked back at Taehyung, the older quickly averted his eyes as a blush spread across his cheeks.
"Did you just check me out?"
"N-no, of course not! Just come down. Breakfast is ready."
With that he spun around and ran downstairs. Jungkook chuckled and followed him.

Taehyung quickly scurried back to the kitchen while fanning his face.
His skin was still hot, the picture of Jungkook's v-line, that flashed from under his shirt when he stretched his arms, still present infront of his inner eye.
Jungkook made him feel things he hadn't felt in forever, if ever. He faintly remembered what it felt like to have a crush back in high school. He had the same giddy feeling now when he saw the younger.
Taehyung put the French toast on the plates and brought it over to the table, where he had already put down some bananas and apples and yogurt, in case Jungkook needed something sweet after the French toast and bacon.
The fruits and eggs were the last they had, the road block becoming apparent now as they were running out of fresh ingredients.
The snowfall had stopped the night before and Taehyung knew that if it stayed like this, the road block would be gone soon. That also meant that Jungkook would be able to leave again. And he would be all alone again.
Before Taehyung could burry himself in any more sad thoughts, he heard Jungkook shuffling behind him.
Suddenly two arms encircled his body from behind and he felt Jungkook's toned muscles pressing to his back. He held his breath.
Jungkook chuckled behind him, placed a soft kiss behind his ear and stepped around him to sit down at the table.
"Calm down, Tae. I will do that more often now."
Taehyung felt a blush creep up his face and quickly returned to the kitchen to get the hot chocolate.
He had calmed down a little when he finally sat down, but he didn't look directly at Jungkook, the skin behind his ear still prickling from the other's lips.
They dug into the breakfast and didn't say a word while doing so. But the silence wasn't uncomfortable, it was peaceful and soothing and there was no need to talk. They simply enjoyed each other's presence.
After breakfast they cleaned the table and washed the dishes. It felt familiar, like they had done this routine for years instead of days.
As Taehyung was putting away the last plates, Jungkook stepped next to him.
"So, the snowfall has stopped..."
Taehyung nodded and turned to Jungkook.
"Right. I guess the repair shop will soon be able to tow your car."
Jungkook looked confused, as if he didn't know what Taehyung was talking about.
"Ah. Right. I didn't even think about that."
"No?"
"No. I wanted to ask if we should take a walk? Now that the snowfall has ended, we could take Yeontan for a much needed stroll?"
Taehyung's face lit up. That was an amazing idea!
"Oooh, I would love to!"
Taehyung squeeled and Yeontan started jumping around them in excitement. Jungkook chuckled at the sight, his heart bursting with admiration for the painter and his puppy.

Jungkook put on his jacket and boots, and waited for Taehyung to come downstairs. The older had just wanted to change clothes, but was already gone for half an hour.
When he finally came downstairs, he was wearing a black skinny jeans and a grey turtleneck. It was a simple outfit, but he looked amazing in it.
Jungkook smiled at him.
"Hey, beautiful!"
He didn't miss the blush that appeared on the older's face before he bent down to put on his shoes.
Jungkook walked over to the door and unlocked it. Yeontan was jumping around his feet, excited for what was to come.
When Taehyung was ready, Jungkook reached out to him to take his hand. The blush reappeared on Taehyung's face, but he was quick to grab the hand outstretched for him. Jungkook felt as if his face was about to split, he was smiling so wide.
They stepped out of the house and locked the door. The path to the woods was easy as Jungkook had cleared the snow just the day before. Yeontan was jumping around and barking out of excitement as they made the way over to the trees.
Jungkook turned to Taehyung.
"Now lead the way!"
Taehyung nodded and pulled him towards the trees.
