An Alter of Time

Chapter 2

Jurassic Start

Alisa was dizzy, confused and bamboozled. "What's happening?" She only recalls that she was on the floor, flowing crimson.

That's all, she can't move her limbs, she can't feel her body, just like inside her thoughts. Eternal darkness crowded her vision, it's so silent that she only talks in her thoughts.

It felt nothing, although there was only one question circulating all over her mind and that is "Is this the end? Death?"

She felt bad about her father, the promise to seek her mother will only go to waste. Because of this, she forces herself to wake up and continue to fight.

"Fight Alisa...fight"

Then soon a mysterious light rippled appeared in front of her sight until everything became so bright.

My eyes slowly opened, adjusting to the bright sun facing me.

"Ahh!" "It's so hot what the heck?" I covered my face with the back of my palm. I sit straight up and rubbed my eyes.

Noticing my surroundings, I am on a green grass and when I look to my left, I see a pond while when I look on my right, I see a wide forest.

I slowly stand up and head to the pond's direction because I feel thirsty. I drank some fresh pond water, scooping it with my own hands. Then I looked at the water and see the reflection of my face, I realized that I have three black dots on my forehead so I washed my face and looked at it again.

"Huh?"

I supposed it should be washed off but it did the exact opposite and it even became five.

"My face! My lovely face! Why am I here? Curse this place!" I yelled loudly that the birds around me flew.

I sat on the rock and suddenly realized that I'm not in my office neither a hospital.

I tried to figure out where I am so I observed the forest but I have found no clue nor trace on what kind of place this is.

I sat down and tried to calm my mind then all of a sudden, I felt the floor is shaking. "Earthquake?"

Weird looking giant birds started to appear and flew away from the forest. I, then, heard weird thumping sounds in the forest.

The sound was vibrating that it made me sweaty, nervous and scared. "RAAAHHHH!" "A-a di-dinosaur!"

It is a Trinoceraus Rex!

"Wait, so that means the weird birds flying away were Pdedoractyls!" " I-I am in the Jurassic period?!" I said with fear and panic as the thumping sounds get louder and louder.

"It's getting nearer!" I ran as fast as I could. "Ahh! I don't want to die!" The T-rex noticed me, faced my direction and is ready to run full pace towards me.

Now everything is so messed up.

I can't run to the north because there is a river there, so I ran to my left. The T-rex is so fast that it is already behind me. I can't help but cry while running.

"What have I done to deserve this?"

An idea popped on my mind, since the T-rex is so large, going through the forest will save me time. This is going to be risky but this might save me. I gulped.

If I don't do something I'd be dead now, taking risks is the only choice I have. I picked up my courage and turn a sharp right that the T-rex almost bit me.
