Chapter 16

Infinitrix True Power

Third Person

          Alisa positioned not caring about her wounded arm, ready to aim at Zur-U's direction. She wiped off the blood from her mouth. She ridiculed Zur-U causing her to cast a void. She casted a powerful void, causing it to change the gravity's direction towards the void, the more the void expands the greater its pull and force.

          Zur-U smirked. She noticed both Carter and Alisa having a hard time moving. The dead enemies are getting sucked by the void and even the platform they were standing on was also getting sucked by this enormous void. Debris of walls are cracking up causing more intensity and pressure to hold on and stay still.

            Zur-U liked seeing them suffering. It is very pleasing for her eyes. The merciless Zur-U then summoned phantoms to distract them.

             "Heh! Even though you have the shards, you're nothing against me for I am a goddess, the highest being!" She started to laugh maniacally.

            Alisa whimpered. "This isn't right. You may have great power that can entirely change the future, but what you are doing will not benefit anyone!"

           "Don't you dare command me, you lowlife bastard!" Zur-U raged on and made the void larger and stronger.
        
           "Die you peasants!" Alisa lost her grip on the pavement. Carter tried to reach her arms but it was too late.

He can't make himself let go from the pavement for he will also die.

            "I'm sorry." He felt guilty and angry at himself. Guilty for not being able to help her friend and angry for being too weak to help her.

            Zur-U shrieked and rejoiced. "I know you're still there mother..." Alisa closed her eyes, letting her body be eaten by the void. She also felt guilty and sad. She let everyone down. Is this really the end?

She felt cold and the surrounding was dead silent. Her body felt weightless as she floats inside. Am I dead again? She wanted to cry but she can't, she can't move her limbs or do any motion, instead, she felt suffocated and tired.

She closed her eyes and heard a woman's voice, a crying woman sniffing her nose.

Alisa opened her eyes and shifted her gaze towards a woman at her 30's crying with her head on her legs, tucked in a corner.

Alisa tried to speak but nothing seems to come out from her lips. Her throat was so dry and weak. The crying woman felt like she was being watched and that's when both of their eyes met.

The woman had a brunette long wavy hair, her puffy orange eyes stood out the most. The woman looked so familiar. The woman stood up approaching Alisa's weak body.

"Close your eyes, dear." The woman said while placing her palm on Alisa's forehead. Alisa's consciousness slowly slipped away.

Alisa woke up in an orange room, wearing pajamas. Everything looked so normal until the woman from the void appeared. Alisa was rattled but somehow this woman managed to calm her down.

When Alisa looked again at her surroundings, she felt somewhat familiar to it. Yes, she was very familiar to it, because it was their house when was only five years old and the woman standing in front of her was no other than her mother.

Tears were rolling down both their eyes. She ran towards her mother and hugged her tightly.

"Mother, is this place our home?" Alisa asked to her mother, Zuri.

"It is indeed our home, but we are still in the void." Zuri responded.

"Then mom, who's that kid?" Alisa looked at the kid with a mockingly gaze.

It pissed the kid off, making him say insulting words to Alisa. Fortunately, Zuri stopped their quarrel.

"He's a prototype using the void's energy." Zuri introduced the kid to Alisa.

            "Mom let's go and find ways to escape this void!" Zuri felt proud, her daughter grew up to be this beautiful and strong despite of the problems she's facing.

"There is a solution to set us free. To be honest, I really want you to stay here with me forever but it would be a selfish act for everyone. If you stay here, you will die but if you are out there, you'll not be only saving yourself but I believe you can save the world too." Zuri added with a bitter sweet smile plastered on her face.

            "If you want to save everyone and to free me from here, you must destroy the vessel itself, the heart of the greedy queen. As I send you, I'll give you my last kiss."

She kissed Alisa's forehead and closed her eyes. Everything was fading away.

"Good luck my hero, my sweet daughter. The future is in your hands, I believe you will not let everyone down. I love you." Zuri vanished, along with the debris of their house.

            "Farewell and thank you mother. I will not anyone down, and I will set you free."

Tears were falling from her eyes. Alisa was enlightened, giving up isn't a great choice. She cannot abandon the responsibility that was bestowed to her.

She opened her pouch revealing the shards. The shards got out and formed a circle around her. This fueled up her spirit and there she embraced a powerful blessing from the seven great gods.

            Carter was very exhausted running and attacking Zur-U. Zur-U summoned raining arrows from the skies. "This is it, it's the end."

Carter shut his eyes thinking it's hopeless for him to dodged those arrows. The arrows almost hit Carter not until a massive explosion occurred in the void, causing the arrows to break off before touching the ground. The hot winds from the hot blazes were felt, with bright neon flames burning their eyes.

            A tiny silhouette of a girl was seen.

"Alisa?"

She was holding a giant javelin while shouting foreign words.

"GIA TO LAMPRO MELLON!" She gathered the void's left energy and were absorbed by her javelin. Zur-U tried to attack but her attacks was only absorbed by her javelin.

            Things turned on not the way Zur-U planned. "No! This shouldn't be happening! How can you still be alive!"

Carter was amazed, the foresight of the end was instantly changed into a beautiful turnover.

Alisa gathered enough energy and released the neon javelin with ease, striking unto Zur-U's chest. Zur-U did not feel any painful reaction from her body after she's been struck, what she felt was warm rains blessing her.

            "You've set me free. Thank you."Zur-U exploded into pieces, getting absorbed into bright flames. It was a tough battle.

They were all tired. Carter lost his consciousness and somehow a strange warp appeared taking Alisa and Carter in.
