Atlantic Ocean

The cold blue ocean greeted their bodies as they impact the ocean waters. It felt so cold. Both of them were unconscious for a bit, but as the water entered their nostrils blocking their breathing, it wakened them. Carter swam up very fast to the surface.

It was raining causing it to intensify the waves. He looked around seeing nothing but layers of crashing waves greeting his face.

Alisa was to be found nowhere, it panicked him so he swam back in the water. There he saw a long orange hair, he swam fast, grabbing her head while swimming upwards for oxygen.

Carter inhaled and saw Alisa in a different state, her skin was covered with dark spots and black burns. When he looked at her face, it looks like it almost got burnt to crisp.

She was bleeding but she still had her consciousness half awaken, but sadly her state looks monstrous.

Wherever Carter looked at any direction, there seems to be no near coasts. Then, a large wave greeted their direction. It's so large that it could bury your head six feet downwards.

They had no choice but to go down again and swim away from the upcoming current. They were still hit, although it's better than being drowned from intense pressure.

They went downwards. Alisa's skin began to rash, it showed on her expression.

Her face was covered in black-like burns. It felt pitiful because her expression shows that she looks exhausted plus the fact that they were underwater.

Carter has a serious look on his face, holding a grip on her arm, then pulling her close to his chest. It made Alisa blush a little but there was no time for that. Her skin gotten worse and it made her nauseous.

It got to Carter's attention, he noticed that she's having fatigue. He knew that if this keeps up it surely will lead her to another illness.

Carter had no choice but to give oxygen to her using his mouth. The thought of it was embarrassing but it is a must to do in order to help her keep alive.

Before he placed his lips on Alisa's half awoken face, the water pressure hit them very hard that it slightly woke her up. Realizing this, it made Carter's grip loosen and eventually they were no longer in touch.

Alisa was sent away by the strong pressure while Carter can't do anything, since he was running out of breath. They lost contact with each other and eventually fell unconscious, but little do they know, someone's keeping an eye on them from a distance.

A turquoise scaled, with two golden-like scattered horns on both sides, and a pair of ruby eyes. A guardian serpent king called Jeffua Vessel Sea Serpent. The ruler of the Atlantic depths and the keeper of the Atlantis ruins.

Before Carter lost his consciousness, he felt a swish beside him and saw a long snake creature swimming towards Alisa's direction.

The serpent grabbed Alisa's fatigued body by its mouth and made a quick turn dashing towards Carter and grabbed him by the tail. The serpent began to go even deeper.

For normal humans, it'd be a pain in the ears and lungs and would cause them to die due to the pressure, but due to the serpent's speed, it was able to bring them faster.

While the serpent went down, he was greeted by the seahorse guard keepers.

At this rate, since Jeffua was near the conduit, he has more ability than above the surface. The conduit is the serpent's source of power, so he made a bubble by his nose and placed both of them in each bubble. This allows them to breathe normally on the water for a whole day.
