"You know I'm really gonna miss you." Charlie was tearing up, he didn't want to see Finn leave after all he's been through with him. Care home from care home, foster home to foster home. Maybe finally, he would stay in his own house.
"You can still visit me," Finn smiled. "It's not like you'll be hundreds of miles away from me!"
"Well actually Finn, I have to go back to Vancouver, there's a new runaway kid called Gaten."
"Oh. I was hoping you could stay and help me unpack." Finn said disappointed, looking around in his fresh new apartment, where nothing had been unpacked yet. Just his brothers guitar laying down on the couch. He hugged Heaton one last time before he left. They really had been through a lot together, all the way to Vancouver then Washington and Oregon. Hopefully settled down in California Bakersfield. "Oh well, bye!" He waved at him while he shoved him outside of his apartment and locked the door.
"M-make sure to eat Finn! Wash your clothes, m-meet new people— go to school, get a job!" Charlie said still knocking on Finn's door. As much as he could be a loving person, he can be very annoying and irritating.
"Yeah got it!" Finn walked away and instead looked around in his apartment. It was more of a house than an apartment since there were two floors. There was the living room and kitchen being separated by a staircase and then you could go upstairs where the bedroom and bathroom was. The care system had already installed everything he needed and wanted, so he didn't need to get a stove or a fridge or anything like cutlery or bathroom essentials or bed sheets nor a tv or a phone because they put in everything for Finn. Even his own music studio with l.e.d lights. The first thing he did was take his brothers guitar and started playing in his music studio. For today, he was going to play on his brothers' guitar and do nothing else.

Flashback
"Finn come in here right now!" Nick screamed. He was holding a blue Fender Standard Stratocaster, the dream guitar he always wanted.
"What?! No fair! Who got you that?!" Finn was touching the guitar just to see if the cords would play and see if the actual base itself was solid. "Woah, that's so cool!"
"I think mom got me this, I've always told her I wanted this guitar."
"When can I get my one?!"
"Well, I'm obviously mom's favourite!"
"You're both my favourites!" That was their mom. She had dark brown curls and beautiful dark brown eyes. They ran up to her and hugged her both. It was their mom who taught them all about indie rock and introduced them to the Beatles style of music and they loved her for it. "One day Finn you'll get your own guitar, for now, keep exploring the beautiful world of music and enjoy it while you can." Even if Finn didn't know what it meant at that time he would still listen to his mom no matter what because he loved her.

Millie's parents would argue about the dumbest things. When she was little they would argue if she was fed or not and instead of feeding her, they were more focused on winning the argument. As per usual, Millie put on her headphones and blasted them with rock metal music. Was it the best music? Maybe not, but it was never about liking the music it was more of how you listened to it, some metal music can be literal garbage and the really good ones are usually underrated. With her parents always arguing, it reflected on her mood which was very moody. Their arguments could last about ten to thirty minutes or if not, whenever they would have dinner together it would be silent which was ninety nine percent of the time. They didn't call Millie down for dinner, you just had listen out if they stopped arguing or you would go down to the kitchen every few minutes. They didn't even know half the time Millie was there, the only thing she ever got from them was her dance lessons, they didn't care if she had a forty-year-old boyfriend or if she got a tattoo on her forehead or if she was getting married with two kids the next day, they just wanted to be that perfect family even though they weren't. Dancing was Millie's passion, when she was three she would sing and dance all day and her mom enrolled her in dance classes. There she met Maddie Ziegler one of her friends, she also met Grace Vanderwaal, she wasn't a friend though. More like a bully. She went through pre-school, elementary school, middle school and now a high school with Millie, they were friends until middle school but then Millie kissed a boy Grace liked, Romeo Beckham. She never got over it since, even though she has a popular boyfriend called Jacob Sartorius. Every freaking girl loves him, blonde hair, brown eyes, captain of the rugby team, high school jock. The reason why Millie wasn't at her dancing class today was that it was the weekend and weekends mean 'family time' for other families anyway, and then the dance school would close on Sunday and begin again on Monday.
