Thursday
Finn was awake after hearing his fifth alarm go off in his pocket. Not realising he was on the living room couch, he rolled off. If he could, he would've stayed laying down all day, but he had to go school or they would call Charlie again. His head was hurting, his body was aching and he could barely move. He felt like not moving at all. It's not like there's any reason to move. Maybe if he just stayed there nobody would ever care to check on him. And if he died nobody would care. Nobody would care at all. His sixth alarm went off and he wasn't thinking of turning it off when he heard a knock on the door. Maybe someone did care. Charlie came in, looking around at first.
"Finn?" He called out. Then Charlie noticed the irritating ringtone coming from the couch. "Finn what are you doing on the floor? Come on you have school today." He looked down and shook his head. "Finn are you okay?" He crouched down. Finn didn't say anything and just stared at the ceiling feeling numb. Nothing mattered, nobody cared. "Did you have one of your episodes recently?" Finn looked at him and attempted to nod. "Can you go school?" Was always the first question he asked him whenever he was had an episode. Finn got up and rubbed his eyes.
"I don't want to worry m-...anybody." He got up and went to his room.
"I can give you a ride then."

On the way there Charlie was doing the most talking, so he was surprised when Finn asked something.
"Charlie," he cut off. "Did my mom or Eric leave anything behind for inheritance?"
"Mary left a lot in you and your brothers possession, Eric not so much." Finn scoffed.
"How much did he leave behind."
"Debt. You might want to worry about inheritance later though."
"What did they leave behind?" He looked out the window.
"It's just money. Since everything your mom or dad-"
"Eric." He glared ay him.
"Since everything your mom and Eric owned was either sold in your childhood house, or burned...in that...fire..is gone." He sighed.
"H-how much money did my mom leave behind?"
"A little more over seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars? You won't get any of it until your eighteen though." She saved that money for his and his brothers future. Too bad she won't get to see it turn out the way she wanted.
"Was anything actually...saved in that fire?"
"We still have a few things in your file. We can show you it sometime-"
"Can I go after school?" He looked at him deeply.
"Your workplace might not allow it plus it's in Vancouver-"
"Can I please go? I really want to go." He stared into his eyes.
"They might not let you back on the job, Finn."
"Then fuck the job! I never liked the job anyways!" He shouted.
"Finn! Language!" He scoffed looking back to the window.
"I'll call in sick, take the week off, whatever!"
"Why do you want to see this so bad Finn? I'm curious!"
"Because I can! I don't have any photos no objects no nothing to remember her and my brother by!"
"Finn you have music! Your brothers old guitar-"
"Just stop the car!" He cut off. He was flustered and fed up. Charlie stopped the car and Finn walked out.
"Finn where are you going?!"
"I'm walking to school!" Charlie was fed up too and he drove off. He had enough Finn for the morning.

Finn wanted to see some photos and that's it. He asked for nothing more. Tears were forming in Finns eyes, threatening to spill. He wiped his red cheek vigorously hiding the tear that had spilt. His anger went away for a second after crossing the street to find and young brunette listening to music on her headphones. Millie was walking too so Finn decided to run up to her catching her attention.
"Finn!" She jumped. "Why are you so red?" She furrowed her brows.
"Do you or do you not want to hear about the inheritance?" She took off her headphones to listen to him. "Seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars." He sighed, looking down.
"That's good! Why are you sad?"
"She always said she would help with our future. Now I know what with."
"You can still make the most of it. Go to the greatest college in America, travel, get a big house, raise your kids with that money." She reassured.
"She won't even see me graduate, walk down that aisle." He teared up. Millie thought of her parents too.
"Uuh." Millie quickly thought to change the subject. "Do you have any ideas to make more money?"
"Nope." He sighed. "I can wait for you to finish detention then you can come to mine? We'll think  about it there."
"Just us?"
"Just us." He smiled.

It was lunch and Millie was sitting with Sadie.
"That's so unlucky! That's like the first time someone's had to come in on weekends!" Sadie pouted even though she felt like laughing.
"I'm not going to the weekend lectures. They must be mad if they think I'm coming." She scoffed.
"They'll just call your mom. What then?"
"She won't care. She won't even pick up the phone, or probably be there."
"If you go on the weekend though you won't have to have it on the week DAYS." She shook her head. "That on top of all the homework they give us? I could never."
"But it's the weekend! The only time I get to relax for like a day." She said. "Guess we'll have to wait and see."
"Maddie and I are doing something after your detention, you can come if you want."
"Can't. I'm going to Finns." She shrugged, looking to the side.
"Again? What you doing this time?" Millie furrowed her brows, trying to come up with something.
"We're going to his...moms memorial sight..." Sadie's eyes went wide.
"His moms actual dead?" She whispered
"No! I mean't...his nans..memorial.."
"What's a nan?"
"You know...Grandma?"
"Sometimes I don't understand how you keep your British slang with you." She shook her head.
"My mom and dad still use it." Whenever they're arguing. She said inside her head.
"You've known him for three days and he's already taking you to his...grandmas memorial sight...His grandma has a memorial sight?" She played with the piece of tissue, her brows furrowed.
"Not really...it's a bench.."
"Did he not just move to California though?" She squinted at her.
"Yeah...His uncle lives around here and they made a bench in a park for her.." Squeezing her thumb, hoping that Sadie bought the act.
"Weird but okay. Tell me how it goes." She shrugged.

This is kind of the plot now, Finn trying to convince Millie to come with him and yeah. There will be mini stories of what they do with a little new dilemma or something and there will be cute moments. If you have any tips, advice or anything you maybe want to see in the story comment cause I honestly didn't plan this out very good- and FRIGGIN star the chapter cause I see so many reads but not the same amount of stars lmao
