Monday, the 4th of December.

Millie was already up and eating by the time Finn woke up from his sleep.
"Wake me next time?" He said quite annoyed but Millie looked up at him with nothing to say. "Not putting up a fight today..?" But again nothing was said.
"What's wrong?" He said taking a seat next to her.
"Maybe I don't want to go, Finn. I've got all my friends here, relatives and family. Why do I want to go to some stupid foreign country." She frowned.
"Cause we have money to go to that stupid foreign country and we also have reason to go there. Why do you think we're leaving here today, instead of three weeks?"
"It's not my fault I have a rubbish dad." She said getting up and moving from him.
"And it wasn't my fault I'm in care! If you wanna stay here so bad, fine go, I don't care anymore."
"So then why have you been pushing me on about it for the last three months? If you're that desperate to bring someone with you, go ahead and bring Grace Vanderwaal!"
"What the fuck, why are you acting like this Millie?"
"You just keep pushing me ON about it, leave me alone!"
"How the hell do you expect me to leave you alone if you're in my fucking house?!"
"Alright, alright, I'm leaving! Happy now?"
"No, I'm not happy actually cause we haven't talked about what you want!"
"Exactly, you never care how I feel— how I want it! You just go on and on about yourself and how great it'll be!"
"So then talk! This is what I'm talking about Millie, you complain about the issue but not even TALK about the issue!"
"How can I talk over the issue if your the one talking over fucking me!"
"Talk about the issue then!" He shouted and it went silent again.
"I don't wanna fucking leave!" She broke down onto the floor crying. "I don't care if I have a dad who's always out for me, I don't care if my mom is there to take care of me half the time, I just wanna stay here Finn! It's where home is, it's where my friends are and I don't wanna leave from here. I grew up here and it's all I'll ever know." She cried.
"If I knew you were like that from the start I would've never let you come!"
"I was like that from the start you just never listened, Finn! You're not a good listener!"
"Okay, so you don't wanna go." He said with a lump in his throat. "Millie...You know it's not safe here. You said it yourself, your dad is here not making it safe. Millie, please come with me. I don't want you to be in danger all the time— I've seen this before."
"Yeah well, maybe not every dad is like yours, Finn. Maybe mine will change."
"So you want to stay and get hurt all the time?"
"...I never said I didn't want to go Finn."
"So then what do you want? Tell me please, I need to know."
"I don't know what I want! I know it's not safe here, I know I need to leave but. It's so hard to go.. so hard to leave. I feel homesick."
"We don't have all day. I'm sorry to rush you but the tickets are booked today. You have until after school that's it. Sorry, Millie but I have to do this...I just have to." He walked away going upstairs, to the bathroom.
"FINE JUST LEAVE ME HERE THEN!" She yelled before slamming the door leaving.
"Why are you so fucking complicated?!" He screamed into the walls. Before stomping upstairs again.

All-day, Millie was lectured by her teachers on how important it is to wear the uniform, just going on about. She also avoided Sadie all day. They hadn't had a falling out but it was the fact she couldn't bear to tell her she was probably going to leave. Even with that argument with Finn, she couldn't help but agree he was right. She'd be in danger if she stayed. Even at lunchtime, she ate alone only with her intense twisted thoughts at mind.
"Hey, bitchface!" Grace said coming up to sit with her. "Where's your loser friend?"
"Where are yours? I mean, if you have friends why are you sitting here with a loner like me?" Millie said smiling bitterly.
"None of your business, Millie." She said looking away. "What's up with you?"
"Nothing, why do you want to know?"
"Oh well, I don't want to go blabbing off to Sadie saying that a certain someone is running away." She stood up and whispered.
"What— how do you know that!? You creep, you've been following us! You're a stalker! Get away from me!"
"Shut up for a minute and listen. I want all the money you've been getting from your cake sales, tomorrow or, I'll be telling a certain someone a certain somebody is leaving."
"Okay then, go off to her tomorrow then! Watch me not care. Anyways, if you do blab like the snitch you are, you wouldn't want me to tell all your 'friends' and your 'very' important dad that you've been stalking a girl you bully and a boy that you got his job loss, I'm sure they would love to hear that wouldn't they? If you're already rich enough why do you want our money? Oh let me guess, daddy's gone bankrupt..." Grace squinted at her before getting up to leave very mad. Now came the end of the day, she couldn't bear to face Sadie...

She waited by the gates until she saw Sadie and pulled her aside from a group of girls. Sadie glared at her before looking away annoyed.
"What do you want now, After ignoring me for a day." Millie sighed and took a deep breath.
"It's about...Finn and I,"
"What?" She hesitated and she grew more nervous. "Has he gotten you..?"
"What? No! Not even close to that. But, me and Finn, we're not gonna be here tomorrow."
"is that it?" Sadie chuckled a relief. "That's what you've been ignoring me for, all day?"
"We're leaving, Sadie. I'm not coming back here." Suddenly her face turned white and her eyes grew watery.
"What...? He can't make you leave Millie!"
"I don't want to go either,"
"So then tell him that! And if you won't tell him yourself, I'll talk to that dickhead myself,"
"Sadie!" Millie's mouth opened widely. "I don't want to go but, it's not safe here. But, you'll always be my best friend and I'll never meet someone like you again Sadie. Remember that."
"You'll visit right?" Millie shook her head doubtfully.
"I'm gonna miss my flight okay?" She said as a tear fell down Sadie's cheek. She hugged her one last time and said. "I love you, Sadie, don't forget it."
"I love you too Millie," She said as she walked away, into the crowds of people.

Millie made her way to the bus stop, looking quite unhappy where she met Finn. She pulled him into a hug, and she wept a little before the bus came round.
"You made the right choice of leaving today. That's a decision you will never forget, the right decision," he said. " I have no idea how hard it must be leaving your mom and your best friend but I promise you, things will only be looking amazing from now on. I promise you that Millie." He gripped his hand onto hands and Millie put his head on his shoulder, tearfully.

They finally got to the airports, thirty minutes before the departure of their planes. Millie and Finn were hungry so they ended up having a burger each which they eventually had to throw away because their plane was leaving. They rushed onto the plane and got in seconds before the doors closed and luckily their seats were near each other. A bit over seven hours later, they arrived.

Finally, The land of Venezuela.
