Chapter 1

"They are opposite poles, still living together in the eternal bond of marriage. Not because they have learnt their differences, but because they have the power to view the world and think things alike."

Unfastening the night suit for her, Vihaan ran his tempting fingers all over Sanchi's bare skin, catching her breath in a pure bliss. A quiver jostled midway across his body and with a deep groan, he buried his face in the scent of her silky hair. He chewed on her lower lip, shuddering her lower core with his mighty thrusts and astounding her with his new pace of making love to her.

She moved up a little on her pillow and he followed her admission before dropping his forehead on top of hers. His steady fingers played with the tip of her hardened nipple as he whispered, "Can you tell me one way how to keep myself off you so that we spend this pregnancy period without me annoying you for the intimacy and making you uncomfortable?"

"Your close-ness doesn't annoy me at all, Vih-aan. I'm more comfort-able when we are toge-ther like this, fondling and cudd-ling each other." She let her arms surround him as he rolled off her body to lie down next to her on the bed.

Wrapping his most comforting arms around her shoulders, he pulled her to his chest. "Just let me know whenever you are not feeling like it. I would do whatever you say but you shouldn't be upset with anything during this stage of your life. Your happiness is everything to me."

She lifted her chin up a little and kissed the stubble on his cheeks. "Do you kn-ow what makes me the happi-est in the world? Your fingers ent-wined and your lips plaster-ed with mine are all eno-ugh to fill the jar of happi-ness within me. In short, when-ever you are near me, I don't need any-thing else to make me happy. Ne-ver!"

A feathered kiss from his lips pressed against hers the moment she narrated those words of love for him, his hands caging her tighter than ever. "We will soon be parents to a pair of fur babies. Isn't it wondrous to think of, hickory?"

"It's ev-en scary to thi-nk of how I wo-uld handle the oth-er two babies besides hand-ling their baby father!" Sanchi chuckled, earning a peck on her cheek from Vihaan.

"You have diligently learnt how to tease me instead of being romantic!" He pulled her chubby cheeks. "Don't call me a baby, at least not when we are in bed. It's the only word that restricts me from doing bad things to you."

They didn't realise when the hour hand accelerated to midnight and Sanchi was fast asleep in Vihaan's arms. The night was quiet and calm, the ticking of the clock filling the serene atmosphere of their room. A midnight electric lamp was burning on the top of their nightstand and they were sound asleep, snoring lightly in deep slumber.

An uncertain hiccup in the middle of the night broke Sanchi's sleep, her throat running dry and palms sweating from the sudden sensation. She shifted her position in sleep but it worsened her condition more than before, causing her to sit upright on the bed. Her eyes rotated to her husband who was now sleeping with his arms stretched in a gesture as if he was still holding her.

She moved out of the bed without making a noise in the hope of not disturbing him by her silent movements. Speeding her pace of walking all the way to the kitchen, she rummaged through the shelves for something to eat without any success.

Disappointed from the failure, she returned to her room again and threw the blanket covers off Vihaan's body and nudged his shoulders vigorously.
